CICT-DT - "ET Canada" open and cancellation announcement (September 28, 2023)

Corus Entertainment, parent company of the Global Television Network, announced on September 27, 2023 that Entertainment Tonight Canada (ET Canada) would be cancelled after 18 seasons.
There was no show produced the day the cancellation was announced, however the show returned on September 28. The show began with hosts Cheryl Hickey and Sangita Patel tearfully addressing the demise of the show.
ET Canada was launched by Global in 2005 after cancelling its nightly soap opera "Train 48". ET Canada's final show will air on Friday October 6.

So sad I like them better than ET talk, which is turning into a Halloween show. I can’t stand the way they dress up is so hilarious! I stopped watching them, but they love entertainment tonight they’re much better
