That's very untrue. Recent adverts still have depth. Even when these ADs came out, we were saying they lacked depth unlike past ADs. In future, we will say current adverts have depth and the present ones in future have no depth. We should learn to appreciate and enjoy the moment

When I was growing up in Port Harcourt back in the late 1980s. I remember when I returned back home from primary school, I'd rush to the living room with a bowl of corned beef flavored indomie. Lay on my belly on our living room rug, with both of my elbows pinned to the floor and the palms of my hands pressed to my cheeks while watching TV. I'd often be waiting for my favorite cartoon show called Voltron to air. These ads were often very common on our Naija TV stations back then. One of our neighbors daughter whom I had a crush on as a kid often came to watch TV with me while my mom and her friends would be sitting on the dinning room background knitting and having grown up conversations. Then in the evenings after doing my homework and hours of playing outside with our bikes, with our neighbors kids and friends, I'd return home where we'd all be seated with my dad at the head table eating our plates of pottage beans and boiled yam (which was a common evening food in our house). We'd see all these commercials again while waiting for Zebrudaya, Willy Willy or Jagua to air on TV Miss 80s Naija so much. Life in Naija was so good back then. Less corruption and less crime. Life was manageable.
Bro better don't come back oooo... You want to see shege banza ahbi. Nigeria of now is not the Nigeria of 6years ago. 6years ago I earn not up to 15k per month and I was doing okay. Today I earn over 150k a month but still I get broke after every two weeks of receiving my salary 😢
My brothers and I used to sing the “skye bank” song to any of us whom our parents scolded or gave ellah to. We would sing the song with one hand over one eye, and tongue hanging out. The person we’re giving the ellah to will be angry while we laughed. 😂
