I almost wish you had two channels. One for the gear reviews and one for the AI/programming stuff. You cover both topics incredibly well, but they're different enough to create too much noise for each other (i.e., your AI subscribers don't necessarily care to get notified about some random laptop review.) You also protect yourself in cases when TH-cam arbitrarily decides to either shadow ban or completely ban a channel, so it doesn't hurt to leave yourself some outs. It sure loves you now though. Your channel came up when I was searching for opinions on the M4 and again when I was looking up stuff on LLM. Each of those times I was on a different machine and different google account. Your content is top notch and I enjoy learning from you, so keep it up!
Ahead of its time?! 😂 I bought one, camera wouldn't scan QR code to sync with 'app', got stuck on camera mode, couldn't even turn R1 off, did everything i could with the plethora of ONE BUTTONs.. gave up and let it just die while the silly wabbit watched me from a shelf with its beady little malfunctioning cam-lens 🐰🤖 I wouldn't call it a complete write-off though, as a present I gave my mom the 1 year promo subscription to perplexity. She loves it, and i love that shes getting into AI things. ☺️
When Microsoft Recalls, people cry about it, but when Ai startup with more access to your pc, people celebrate. Funny times. It's sandboxed now, but it still will need your info so it can be tailored to you, utilize apps/services you use with your info, and have more access than Recall
7 years ago we were already using similar tools for testing UI in Qt/QML. They were written in Python and worked like it’s shown in the video: the tester writes each step in human-readable text. But I guess I shouldn’t have to explain every single step to the AI, right?
Tried, but it's just a POC for now, not production grade by any means and hogs up Anthropic credits too much while it keeps trying and trying and trying and then quits
Buy your land now. We are going back to farms but this time it will be with humanoid robots we own that seed and harvest our fields, make our clothes, & build our homes. Our whole day will be fixing the robots. At home robot bartenders ,can’t wait for that !😂
this will be very useful when it is integrated in the OS, like browsers are today. My opinion is that id does not replace current jobs, just gives leverage to workers to do their jobs better, faster, easier. But new, junior level jobs are threatened - it is easier to instruct an AI than instruct a Junior in the first few months even years of work.

been considering it
We, the viewers, cannot thank you enough, Alex. Thank you for keeping us keep up with these AI accelerated times.
Until Claude can spin up something to straighten your TH-cam plaque, your job is safe, Alex 😊
So after cloud computing, here comes the claude computing era 🤣🤣
I wonder if anyone remembers Microsoft Test. This automated tool for testing Windows based software was actually very useful.

If possible, make a video on text-to-speech generation using local llms.
I'm waiting for the times when we only go to work to socialise with our colleagues, and not to do any kind of specific work.
a new era in data scraping has started...
"Claude please crack RSA-2048 in 3 seconds with a pentium II"
Rabbit R1 was ahead of its time. This is exactly what they used in their servers. Its amazing to finally see it in action.
R1 wasn’t even using AI though, but a playwright script. this one seems legit

if this can be hosted locally like other llm models, I am done dreaming about Jarvis and actually start configuring one for me

i was thinking the same thing
The difference I think is user choice, you don't HAVE to have claud running on your computer, but your options about recall more limited

thanks @alex
thanks for watching and being a member!
Okay, after seeing this I’m certain many things will unfold before what we anticipated. WHERE TO PIVOT? ANSWER ME NOW.

I somehow disagree, it's more opportunity for software and service providers. And this will push developers to be more creative.
How many tokens and dollars did you burn while performing those tasks?
It called it a "Galculator"??? What's up with that?

If AI can do more of your work, you won't get a longer lunch break, you will get more work with a shorter deadline...
why even have you working for me, if this can do your job?
@@AndrewTSq Not there yet. Right now it is just a booster. Eventually, yes.

@@adriannasui8627 I can’t wait until people realize they have a problem with no senior level staff left because they stopped hiring juniors.
