My boss in the 80s flew Shackletons MR. They would get practice intercepts from Lightenings . The poor Lightening had to go nose up and orbiting the slow prop aircraft.
The game they played was to empty the teapot out the fuselage window, trying to get tea leaves on the Lightening canopy....

"The Boeing RC-135 is nicknamed "Rivet Joint" because it originated from the "Rivet" program, a series of U.S. Air Force modernization and modification efforts for aircraft during the Cold War. The "Joint" part refers to the aircraft's role in joint operations, where it collects and analyzes electronic intelligence (ELINT) and signals intelligence (SIGINT) to support multiple military branches and allied forces."

The Hainan Island incident was a ten-day international incident between the United States and the People's Republic of China (PRC) that resulted from a mid-air collision between a United States Navy EP-3E ARIES II signals intelligence aircraft and a Chinese Air Force J-8 interceptor on April 1, 2001.

I think Cap is completely correct and that is what I immediately thought of too. It is an AI tool that is demonitizing and classifying these videos with no human input at all.
What would actually be the most useful is if the grounds for the disqualification were given in the comments here for proper transparency Mr TH-cam. Or Mr AI if you are reading here. Please respond!
Instead of just taking all of the profit for yourselves based upon your own made-up grounds with no oversight.

Cap - "Could you [intercept radio comms] with satellites?"
It depends. In theory at least, you could intercept communications in the VHF and UHF bands a lot of the time; but managing the fleet of satellites to do this would be a logistical nightmare.
However, wavebands with longer wavelengths (HF, medium wave, long wave etc.) tend to get refracted around the Earth by the ionosphere, so very little of the signal ends up reaching into space. Also, the size of antenna required might get unmanageable.
Shorter wavelengths (microwaves, essentially) are commonly transmitted using highly directional antennas. Also, the signals are short-range because they get absorbed by water in the atmosphere. For these reasons, intercepting microwave transmissions needs to be done as close to the source as you can get.

There was a Russian Mig31 pilot that said if he had the authorization he could have shot down the SR71. Supposedly the SR71 would be on its return leg of the journey that was a little predictable so when it was detected the pilot would orientate to fly under but ahead of the SR71 and soon as it passed above he would fire his axehead and it would have downed the SR71.
It might be a fun contest between the pilots as it would require specific timings and speed.

@@SmithandWesson22A you sound like you know? Wikipedia is vague on the non-modernised Axehead, R-37, the R37M certainly wasn’t in production before SR71 was retired in 1999, it was on hiatus as too expensive.
The story sounds like a typical boast of a Russian. The Soviets hated the overflights they would have shot them down if they could, the Russians may not have wanted to antagonise the USA post fall though

We all spy one each other. A nav error, technical glitch or smoke and mirror shithousery can lead to tragic consequences in times of heightened tension-Korean Air Lines Flight 007 courtesy of SU 15s over Sakahlin or Iran Flight 655 dispatched by USS Vincennes. I remember reading an account at the height of the Cold War of RAF Phantoms doing a QRA over the North Sea at night in pitch black before eventually finding the Bear in visual. One of the Bear's crew shone a brilliant searchlight directly into the cockpit blinding the crew and robbing them of an hours worth of night time vision. They had to break away in total disarray. If that was me I would have put a Sidewinder or four where Bear's don't like them.
