- Finishing in the top 10 of this year's Miss Universe pageant, Michelle Dee only hopes that her countrymen saw the extent of her dedication to clinch another crown for the Philippines, and that she made them proud.
In an interview with ABS-CBN News after the coronation night in El Salvador on Sunday, November 19, Dee said she left no stone unturned in her bid for the Miss Universe title, but conceded that, ultimately, it was "destiny" for Nicaragua's Sheynnis Palacios to win.
Dee also spoke at length about the three awards she received during the pageant, and expressed gratitude to her supporters, her family, and the creative and training teams behind her pageant journey.

Victory is not about being 100% sure of winning the title due to overflowing confidence in words and action, but knowing how to respond to defeat and show the world what humility and sportmanship we always tend to forget.

Yes brainy beauty Philippines, shes a stunning edgy candidate but NICARAGUA got the perfect flawless performance at that night, a complete package from swuimsuit to gown and to the final question, shes consistent in her smile, no inhibition, no limit, she got perfect body shape, real woman figure, classy elegant hour glass figure, her smile was consistent from swimsuit to gown and her adlib is unique specially when she turned 2x during the swimsuit, it was hard to do it but it seemed easy for her to turn and the way she carried the gown, she got a queenly aura, the star was aligned to her at that night, everything she did was smooth & perfect on stage. She was the brightest star, d most attractive candidate at that night. Sayang lang Philippines had limited smile from her swuimsuit to gown nag boy aura sya, konti lang girly aura at common ang pag turn niya sa swimsuit, kulang din sya sa energy, parang hindi sya happy on stage minsan nakasimangot, minsan. Yes, Michelle got a brainy beauty kung sya lang tingnan mo, parang sya na winner but if u look at other candidates like Nicaragua and Thailand nagiging ordinary ang aura ni Michelle, sorry po, opinion ko lang.

What a true Queen! Deserved much more than a MU Crown. Even though I'm not a Filipino but still I have been rooting for the Filipino candidates ever since Pia Wurtzbach won Miss Universe 2015. I can feel how much Michelle has poured her hearts into it to bring home the 5th crown for the Philippines. I really really admired her dedication and compassion for this journey. As for the Miss Universe pageant Industry I just have to tell you how I feel and I also know most of the Filipinos felt this way . Miss Universe Philippines is a very strong contingent amongst the rest yet we are very disappointed of what has happened with the picking of top 5 ! 😔 To be honest , i see more potentials and profitable actions for Ms. Dee if ever she wins the Ms.U but you never give her a chance . I just hope next year everything will be fair enough when it comes for choosing the Miss Universe because this will lead to a new change and for the betterment of the world , rather the universe...😅🤗
