    Really liked this small pendant. I realize that I can use this technique to make a larger pendant to accommodate a larger stone. Thank you for your very well explained tutorial.

      I hear it in the videos, and it is strange because I don't hear it other wise unless I hold the pliers up to my ear. Turns out them being right by the camera microphone really amplifies the sound.

    The xeron pliers, do they really help prevent the marring of the copper wire better than other chain nose pliers?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The advantage of the Xuron pliers is just that they are very fine tipped and get into tight spaces, I don't think they marr the wire less than other pliers

  • @tammygurl64
    @tammygurl64 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    This is so pretty! ♥♥♥ You make it look so easy. I've not yet worked with square wire but I imagine it is much easier than using round wire for enclosing cabochons. Last year when I started this hobby it took me hours to do a round glass cabochon because it kept slipping out of my fingers. It was so slippery I just couldn't hold onto it. I even tried using tissue to get a grip. Then I finally decided cabochons weren't the best things (for me) to work with. LOL! 😀 This tutorial has me reconsidering that maybe I should give it another try using square wire and a less slippery cabochon (whatever that might be?)... 🤔 As always, I love and appreciate your tutorials! Thank you! ♥🙂♥

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      yes square wire definitely makes it much easier! Try lava rock cabochon, it is the least slippery thing to practice on I think

    Hi Oxana, would you be able to do a tutorial on wire wrapping the bail. Every time I do when I fold the wire / it tends to leave a lot of gaps in the bail. What am I doing wrong?

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Is the wrap nice and right, but when you bend the bail the gaps form? That does happen, it is just all about minimizing those. Before you bend the bail make sure your wrap is nice and tight with no gaps and press down on it with your pliers
