@@cesaroctavioortiznunez9166, Canek no sirve para nada, Canek comparado con Mil Máscaras no es nadie, a Canek nadamas en el 4 caminos es conocido ni siquiera en todo el país es conocido, es más ni su mamá lo conoce, es puro fanfarrón y hocicón, Mil Máscaras es conocido a nivel mundial a luchado con los mejores del mundo y les a ganado en su propio terreno, es el mejor luchador que tenemos en Mexico, no hay ningún otro que se le pueda igualar con tantos triunfos como los que Mil Máscaras a logrado.
Muchos dicen que esto es aburrido pero esto en verdad es lucha libre. Gracias por subirlo.

Esta no es la lucha de estos tiempos, es más... Me agrada mucho más ver esto que tanta faramalla de hoy... No soy muy aficionado a este deporte pero algo me dice que la lucha de aquel tiempo era más auténtica no sé si estoy en lo correcto

I only once saw Mil Mascaras wrestle back in the early 80's, very good wrestler. I read Mascaras's career lasted over thirty years.

This was a clinic on test of strength and all the counters you can dream up.
Two of the most famous masked men of their era, and both notorious for how hard it was to get them to sell an opponents offense. While some may consider this match kinda cringy, I personally am fascinated seeing the wrestling psychology of two immoveable objects duking it out.

Mil Mascaras and Bobo Brazil were our favorites back in the day but we liked the Destroyer as well. As I recall there was also a "Baby Destroyer".
Bobo Brazil I could take or leave but keep Mascaras ... I never liked the guy .

Me gusta cuando se enfrentaba Mil Máscaras contra The Destroyer por que aquí si era exigido, en otras luchas Mil Máscaras solo permite su lucimiento personal; aquí se enfrenta a un luchador que no se lo permite y entregan los dos una gran lucha.

I didn't realize the Destroyer was this good really took it to Mil, Mil was known for being tough to work with.
No every match needs to be this. I just wish that there was more of it these days. I do like some of the flying around. Just not so much in every damn match. Same with brawling. This match wouldn't have been so clean in 1973 America. Destroyer was a technical heel and Mil a face who did a lot of aerial. From what I recall he didn't do as much mat work as he did here when I used to see him in late 60s-early 70s L.A.

Si , I enjoyed this match . Its too bad that Mascaras rarely showed his opponent such respect . He too often no sold and showed off against his foes . Superheros have bad matches for the most part . I preferred Dos Caras simply because he was far more willing to sell for his opponent than Mil Mascaras ever was .

子供の頃見たマスカラスは空中殺法のイメージだったが、今改めて見るとレスリングの下地がしっかりあったんだとびっくりしました。
デストロイヤーは亡くなり、マスカラスも70代後半。なんか寂しいですね。
日本プロレス時代の猪木との対戦を見ると、レスリングの攻防が非常に面白いです。
当時としては斬新というか、地味な寝技の攻防に、観客が慣れていない雰囲気がありありと分かります。

I have to admit that Mascaras actually wrestled a good match here . Too bad he would not do so with most of his foes . I saw him no sell a kick from Bruiser Brody for gods sake ...he must have had a great respect for Dick Beyer .

Mil Mascares used a thousand masks for a thousand different faces. The Destroyer (real name Dick Beyer) was secure in himself needing only one mask. MM could never decide who he really was. He seemed to me to be a very insecure man in life. The Destroyer was very macho. A man's man.

Exvdmelente lucha. Por lo general vemos al mil haciendo cera y pavilo de todos sus contrincantes.. Ñero el destroyer resulto un hueso duro de roer.. No lo dejava aplicar su estratejia.. con castigos y contra llaves geniales.. bien por los dos.. GRANDES ATLETAS..! RESULTADO JUSTO..

El reclamo de Mil Mascaras es que era conteo de 20 segundos y simplemente fue una lucha extremadamente brillante, Aunke fisicamente se miraba mas entero Mil destroyer estaba ya cansado

Esta lucha es de verdad, aquí no se podían poner de acuerdo conque ahora sigo yo ahora sigues tú. Por eso Mil Máscaras fue lo que fue a nivel internacional y por eso ningún otro luchador mexicano pudo triunfar en Japón porque todos dependían del script. En EUA la están haciendo muchos porque ya le saben al inglés y ellos al español.
Mil ya hablaba inglés y japonés en esa época, que estás diciendo.

Is there another name that the destroyer goes by because I have a handy man that is claiming he is the destroyer. I want to know if its true

When I told him Pa Kettle died decades ago, he came back with, "That was the wrong Pa Kettle!" He then threw an empty coconut water can at me, and stomped down the street. Honestly...he looks a little chubby for Pa Kettle.
