Because P65B40 is almost identical to P60B40 from m3 gtr. Transmission that is mated with it in M3 GT2 just has far less of the whine, but engine itself sounds exacly the same. Which is also why all stupid studios which dont bother to represent M3 GTR right have no excuse because getting M3 GT2 or Z4 GT3 for recording session is very easy in comparison to M3 GTR and sound is exacly the same

No, but it's two tracks joined together for one race. The Nurburgring has two parts, the Formula One Grand Prix circuit and the Nordschleife. The Nordschleife is the track that road cars try to set records on. For endurance races like VLN and Nurburgring 24 they combine the two tracks.

The M3 GTR (P60B40) has a larger bore (94mm) and shorter stroke (72mm) than this M3 GT2 (P65B40) with a 92mm bore and a 75mm stroke. Both displace 4.0 liters but the P65B40 was based off the S65 engine in the E92 road version (the M3 GTR was built specifically for ALMS).

Kacpa2 a flatplane s65 on an e46 would basically be the gtr
@@erojerisiz1571 it's not just the crank. Firing order is different on p60-65. Also cam profiles are totally a lot more agressive on these cars.
