personally, I think Crossbone should only be animated up to Koutetsu no Shichinin (The Seven of Steel). Mobile Suit Gundam Crossbone (TV Series) : 30-40 episodes Mobile Suit Gundam Crossbone : Skull Heart (OVA) : 2-4 episodes Mobile Suit Gundam Crossbone : The Seven of Steel (TV Series + OVA for final battle) : 12 episodes + OVA , then a compilation in a form of Movie.
This would be the best way to animate Crossbone, absolutely. Ghost and Dust are marred with writing issues that can't be fixed by Sunrise without having to rebrand them, and the few fans of them I have met are so far gone in terms of logic (Psycoframe is back in ignorance of Unicorn and Narrative, but apparently according to them it doesn't count since it's "just" a b-plot?) it's probably not worth appealing to them.

The X-0 actually was built from F99 body components. So that's why its compatible to the EMS-TC02 Phantom.
