- I know many of you are waiting for my movie, and it will still be a while as you can see I'm still playing the game, but I wanted to upload a short video showing off the improved parkour in ACU. This is easily my favorite gameplay improvement. I also particularly love the city and the graphics.

It only took 5-7 years for other people to realize this is a good game. AC wasn't very well received at the time due to the series becoming repetitive but this one stands the test of time

The parkour in this game is the best parkour in all of the AC games
No assasin's creed 1,2,brotherhood,revelations,3,4 are the best parkour in the game so far unity and syndicates parkour is unrealistic i don't know for rouge tho.

You kidding me? The parkour in Unity and Syndicate is much more realistic. Arno and Jacob/Evie use moves that utilise their environment. Which is what you need to do in parkour.

+wing nn Parkour is finding the most direct way to get from point A to point B. Free running uses many of the same techniques but doesn't really have a goal like parkour.
Ur totally right parkour as u said is to get from point a to point b but free running is getting from point a to point b with showing off ( flips... )

Hey Andy. I was wandering if by any chance. Could you make a video of you fighting
templars and using sword skills, like this video you made of you just free roaming and exploring the city. Now could you make one of you just fighting and showing off some weapons we dont normally see in the previous games. :]
When I saw the other movies people made. They put all the contents thats usually in the game, in the movie. Like the character's HP bar, the map, and subtitles that not even nessassary for a movie. PLZ :( dont make your movie new upcoming movies like theirs. keep up how u made your first movies, by making it like a real movie without the unnessassary details put to it.

Damn, the graphic is so good for a game released on 2014.
Honestly, this is better graphics than many games that have released since. It basically pushed the graphics too far so it ran bad in 2014 and they had to dial the technology back for the games that came after it.

Wish they would maybe add just a bit more flair to the big jumps, like maybe some front flips or some spins every now and again to change it up and make it look even cooler.

for me, Unity had the best free roam and parkour animations, looked natural the most
one thing I understood after playing UNITY and SYNDICATE . Ubisoft games are meant for consoles not for pc bcz they don't no how to run the game in pc

***** Ask anyone u want ubisoft games aren't optimised correctly for pc . Games like GTA 5 I GET around 80fps in 1080 but games like unity, Syndicate I get 45-50 fps

GTA 5 doesn't have brilliant graphics tbh. I have a shit PC but can get good fps on GTA 5. GTA 4 has better graphics and physics.
When it comes to parkour and gameplay fighting as assassin this was the best in series. Personally I really hope they go back to it

I hate how the more modern AC settings get, the more your character stands out! He's the only one wearing all black, a hood, and spear jumping around in plain sight.

Pisses me off everyone is talkin about how "Unrealistically he moves" I'll take suspension of disbelief for the sake of the best movement in AC. Hands down. havent tried syndicate but Ac3 and 4 improved the formula but unity. pardon the pun but revolutionized it it wasnt the best game and was pretty dissapointing yes. but still a solid gorgeous game with great controls. and maybe the stealth is kinda booty but its the same in all AC games stealth is more of a forethought but regardless the game is fine once you get the hang of it. It was alienating going from revelations to this but going back makes me realize how bad Ezio used to control. A bitch to get off buildings. i remember just jumping off most times. Ezio would run up walls like 17 times and didnt turn around for shit and the combat while I wouldnt say excellent its at least better than the slaughter fest Assassins creed became after Assassins creed 2. Like for once you're an assassin not a super badass never be touched killing 300 men in one battle warrior that you were prior to unity now should they outnumber you that bad you could still die regardless of level. Moral of the story Unity is not as fucking bad everyone says it is. pretty damn refreshing to me at least once you get past the faults

Fuck the gravity in this game man...
imo the best-looking parkour moves in AC series so far... The landing might need some tweak, but the Leap of Faith in AC: Odyssey should be able to solve that... Did hope that Origins and Odyssey would have parkour moves similar to Unity, but nope, guess I'll have to wait for another AC game that has fantastic parkour moves. But for the mean time, I'll enjoy Sparta Kicking everyone off the cliifs once Odyssey is out :D

I play God of War in which he has godly strength, Spiderman or any other superhero game ever existed is unrealistic. There are pieces of eden in this game that holds great power and I don't go around complaining it's unrealistic cause it's just a game XD.
@@jamesmccloud7535 i agree but that’s a bad argument. Spider-man and Kratos are meant to be unrealistic- it’s in their lore. There’s no lore in assassins creed that says they should be breaking physics like he does. He’s an assassin, not spider-man.
A lot ofpeople keep comparing ezio to arno and i think people cant see that both had their ups and downs. Ezio scaled walls slower for the most part and it was clear what jumps he could make and which ones he couldnt. As opposed to arno he jumps 9 meters forward in a straight line. I think if they improved the physics a bit more and limited the jumping gap a bit it would be perfect. Plus people say "Ezio ran faster!" except its not true at all. Ezio FEELS like he is faster because of the way he moves his arms while sprinting. Arno looks how i would expect someone sprinting to look like.
i like AC unity especially the coop missions i dont know why people hate on it ???

AC 3 to me has the best free running
Gabriel San Juan in some ways I like the way it works in AC3 and in other ways I like the way Unity does it. AC3 has a speed and agility to it, while Unity has more realistic animation flow and weight to the movements (although the character does jump a bit too far)

what I dont like about this is that it has no momentum, it breaks completely with every jump or every obstacle, and then gains the speed. Its like doing frog jumps instead of jogging
in my opinion ac unity wasn't all that bad but was just boring however I enjoyed the parkour

the combat mechanics are definitely better in Unity, but the cinematic finishers are better in Syndicate imo

I am playing Assassin's Creed Brotherhood on 2020... I say the Parkour is really different, especially on Syndicate. Is it because I'm used to the parkour of Brotherhood?

I have this in my PS4 and is sick!!
Gameplay-wise, it's very well-done but story-wise? Not so much. I had some problems about the combat, though.
- Enemies still shoot you, even though with vaulting animations still in play.
- Dodging is not consistent.
- Parry's also not consistent (especially on Agiles)
- Some enemies shoot you anyway even when you're out in range, and somehow they don't hit civilians when I'm behind them.
Off-topic:
- When I'm behind 2 enemies, and I as I try to double assassinate them, they somehow see me from behind. Do they have 6th sense or something?
Unity combat is a total disaster, can't blame you for disliking it.

DirectX 11 is backwards compatible with all previous DX versions

Man this game in HDR would be beautiful (although you wouldn't need a Pro for that)
The game's 900p resolution however would likely prevent it from getting 4K support, so it would only be 1080p, and likely wouldn't have any major graphical improvements on the Pro either, but 1080p would still look nice compared to how it looks here, and the frame rate would be more stable in a lot of places, although maybe still not all since frame rates can only be improved by about 30% max on the Pro in most cases, so for example in places it drops to 20fps, it would only boost to 26fps or so.
Resolution and pixels doesn't matter for me because I have never played this game in my life... I just want to play it on ps4 pro when I will get it cause I don't have a ps4. And yeah this is gonna be beautiful and also they can't do 4k with this game, not with the specs ps4 pro has all I want is to play this beautiful game ❤❤❤
Oh well PS4 pro will play every PS4 game, but they won't all be upgraded. Do you have a 4KTV? If you don't, there's not much of a benefit in the Pro over the regular PS4. Like I said aside from resolution, the hardware only allows for about a 30% improvement in either graphics or frame rate at most. With a 4KTV (assuming you have a big enough set for your viewing distance) the improvement over regular PS4 is really impressive, but without one it's minimal at best.
That's good.. I don't have a 4k TV but I don't think that will stop me from buying it...

Game was amazing parkour was great graphics sky everything but when its release it was buggy and unoptimized i think that is why it was a bit flop
Is this game really that bad? or was it just reputation damage due to it's release failure? I mean, how bad could it be, I've been playing Syndicate for a couple of weeks and it's just great, the movement, combat everything is so good, and it is my understanding that most of syndicate is based on Unity's new features....Arno looks like a great assassin's and the Historic Era of the French Revolution is so good, so I wonder if I should pick this up, is under $20 at Amazon anyways and it's the last piece I need to complete the collection.
A lot of it is reputation damage like you said. What I would say about the game is it has probably the best gameplay and graphics in the series, and one of the best locations, but the story is also one of the weakest. Also, the history isn't integrated enough into the story, and also isn't depicted very accurately either.

I think it has a strong start, and I think the characters are good, but I think the story does a lot wrong. Probably my least favorite story overall in the series.

See? This video was uploaded the same year of the game's release. Sometimes you just gotta appreciate the gameplay and not the bugs. Bugs can be fixed, the gameplay stays how it is. So should've just enjoyed the gameplay and forget the bugs. That's where all the hate came from.
I honestly didn't even notice any bugs when I played it at launch. Some performance issues, but not bugs.
