Defamation Bill 2024 has been passed by the Punjab assembly , In which those persons who spread misinformation,fake news the case will be filled against them under this law , opposition in Punjab assembly deny from acceptance of bill and journalist also didn't accept the Bill
The Cases of defamation under this law will be heard by special tribunal courts and this Bill also tells the process as well as punishments
