    Watched your video, today before trying this for the first time with my Preston Pellet Waggler! Second cast and I was into a beautiful big Mirror!
    Great video.
    Just one question, can the Waggler Stops be reused?

    Would be good to see you and jamie out of your comfort zone, ie america fishing for goliath groupers, or tarpon, bone fish, that would be good, and funny.

    Hi live the Waggler
    For carp - what technique would you recommend for crucians?

    Can the 12’ pellet waggler rod be used for general float fishing too?

    It's a great video but what does .18 mean? There's no way to know what .18 line does, will it pull a ship? will a roach snap it? what does .20 line do? There's just no context. This is not a criticism of Andy who is a fantastic angler and teacher and deserves great respect, but the new fashion of talking about line that used to be classed by breaking strain, surely there must be a better way.

      @UKprestoninnovations  ปีที่แล้ว

      0.18 is the diameter of the line. High tech lines are much stronger than traditional reel lines, so they are often referred too in their diameters rather than breaking strains.

    Andy, love your videos and your obvious love of what you do and great sense of humour. Your tips are excellent. I am only a pleasure a gler and fish club waters with pellet waggler and have had good results but have been leaving float out far too long. Mugging on the waggler is a thing I'd been doing since a kid after fish just under the surface but obviously your more refined technique should help me catch more than I find then😂 cheers mate

    I was using t he " mugging" waggler yesterday and found that giving the cruising fish a few freebies worked well.

    Great video Andy
    I fished the pellet waggler today,and have done a few times lately as the weather has been good.
    I fish exactly the same as you .
    I use the pellet waggler kit ,to a kkm size 12 0.19mm 4inch bait band
    What I've noticed is that after a few casts the line seems to wrap round the swivel and knots up.
    I leave a slight gap as I've always been advised to do.
    I then have to re tie it all,as you can't change the depth as its knotted up
    What am I doing wrong,
    Never had the problem before I started using the pellet waggler rubber stops
    I love the pellet waggler great weights in a fast time, and your rod gets violently yanked😂

      Are you using a Waggler Link swivel? You shouldn't be experiencing wrap overs if so.

    • @kirkhogan2688
      @kirkhogan2688 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm using the preston link swivels,one above two below
      I even put three below,
      It happens on the last three sessions,
      I even bought some matrix pellet kits to see if it was the preston ones,same result
      I even put one of the rubbers down the line to stop the rotation , like the carp boys do with a sleeve of rubber,
      I'm only casting 25/30 m

    Andy what reel do you recommend for a 13’ match rod?

    • @southghost149
      @southghost149 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on how far your casting. Commercial / lake fishing for carp and silvers 3000 series is perfect.
      Slider fishing typically casting further than a usual Waggler you could use 4000 series.

    • @UKprestoninnovations
      @UKprestoninnovations  ปีที่แล้ว

      320 size would be perfect :)
