So well performed.Great interpretation of what Handel would want I'm sure.
I love this technique
Well, I guess I've now heard King's Gents sing with vibrato...absolutely piss elegant as usual. So wonderful and so much restrained passion.
@TheButterhex I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Extract from "All we like sheep"
Hi! I'de like to know what is the second part?
Thanks in advance, this version is amasing
Marco from France
It is a poem called The Coming by R S Thomas.
What is the passage read at the end of this movement.?
+FrJcsc It's from two choruses later, at the end of the chorus "All we like sheep have gone astray".
It is a poem called The Coming by R S Thomas.
Why are organist always appointed choirmasters? Why not appoint a true choral expert? And most organist and so called choral experts these day, don't know how to correctly train boys and girls how to sing correctly; lowered relaxed jaw, throat and Adam's apple.
I saw a Simon Preston video performance of the choir. I was struck by the tense facial expressions of the choirboys. Bad vocal technique.
The conductor here was the late, great Sir Stephen Cleobury, organist, yes, but also acknowledged as one of the world's greatest choral directors. May he rest in peace.
