I’ve been there… and it’s actually… I enjoyed Hong Kong much better… Japan they’re strict with their life’s and we went there and another American… started following us.. it freaked us out really bad😬😵💫
I've flown this, ORD to HND (Haneda) nonstop on UA and also on ANA. Liked the ANA service much better overall; the route flown is usually NW towards and over the Alluetian (sic) Island over SW Alaska then SW towards Tokyo. Nice flight roughly 13 13.5 hrs. Got a few hours of sleep along the way.
Me too buddy, if you draw a simple line you definitely notice that the flight was pursuing its own routes without any coming down from the winglet, simply winglet doesn't follow the curvature :)))
No one complained, so I don't know. I think I lowered it a little bit at some point, but also, with the Gopro and contraption stuck to the window, it was pretty obvious what I was doing.
I will need to get hammered or drugged and pass out to go to japan from LA as Im afraid of flying and a bit of turbulence will keep me awake and stressed out for the whole flight knowing that there is no emergency landing anywhere near. I plan to visit Japan in a year or 2
@@loksopi6869 LOL. That’s not the plane going in a circle. This is because of perspective and distance. The clouds are moving away from the plane making it seem like it’s going in a circle. Funny enough, planes do actually take a curved path, but not because of your crazy flat earth disk conspiracy theory, but because distances near the poles are shorter than at the equator because the earth bulges at the equator due to its rotation. In a sphere, distances are shorter near the poles than at the equator, hence why they take these curved paths.
I didn't ask them, but eventually, one of the flight attendants came by and said it wasn't allowed to be suction-cupped to the window during takeoff. Otherwise, no issues. Surprisingly, no one complained, but the flight was pretty empty, I had a row to myself to do this.
Please, can you share a trick or a hint how did you mount your camera to keep it static in place? Do you recommend a small tripod with a clamp fastened to the armrest, or would it be better with suction cups? Thank you.
I used a GoPro mount with a whole bunch of extensions to suction cup it to the window. I also ran a usb cable to the USB port on the inflight entertainment screen. Otherwise, this would never have lasted nearly as long as it did.
Such an awesome visual! Would i be able to use the footage for the background of a lyric video I'm making? Happy to link your channel in description as credit! 🤍
No curvature the entire flight. Chicago to Tokyo is 6,298 miles. At 8 inches per mile squared (the official earth curve calculation), there should be 26, 443, 202 feet of curvature on this flight. The earth is flat.
Why do we not see curvature, per the mathematical equation of curvature you should see it when you ascend, yet every time the horizon comes to eye level 🤔
I tried to do this on my flight from charlotte, North Carolina to San Jose, Costa Rica, and I got tired and wanted to watch a movie on my phone instead of using it to record a 4 hour flight
Used to have this song on my playlist every time I flew. Crazy that a flight video is how I found it again. I miss traveling.
Amazing to me how far the human race has come. This journey would have taken months just 100 years ago and now maybe 13 hours. Just incredible to me.

it's nuts a plane can make this trip in one leg. crazy tbh.

Why don't u go straight line over the Pacific?
Very nice view. It would have been nice along the way to mention where you are at various time in the flight.Or in the notes here.
Made this flight 3 times from United States to Japan. 18 hrs in the air.
2:06 Its cruising at low altitude that's why passing through clouds
This is false. The cloud layer just got higher
I think you're cruising at low altitude
For those who say that planes do not fly over the Pacific Ocean, here is a clear example.

Flat earth is a mental illness
what flat earth
How is horizontal stabilizer(winglet, small wing) visible .
I was sitting near the back of the plane. and GoPro Hero 4 Black have a fisheye lens, so it's a wider angle. I don't know how else they would work.
Never corrected for curvature once
Why is 5:10 the most replayed? It's just clouds
Was it problematic to keep the window shade open all that time?
No one complained, so I don't know. I think I lowered it a little bit at some point, but also, with the Gopro and contraption stuck to the window, it was pretty obvious what I was doing.
High speed train times 3 times 13-14 hours.

Greater rockford?
In the next 25 years from Chicago to Tokyo will take 15 minutes to fly but this time for real, no time lapse camera but with super sonic jets
awesome vid
The sky was dark and that shows how high the plane goes
its called night time
This time lapse is only slightly faster than the ISS in real time
Flight time to Tokyo....about 10mins.

Dunno, somewhere between 31000 and 36000 feet, likely.
