Tiny and cute she may be, but needing protection? Not likely. I mean... don't you think she'd totally kick Margo's butt in a fight? :) Never mind Margo, I think she could take Tom if she wanted too I like FK here, she's adorable, but I really love her in Rosemary and Thyme because she's a tough mature kind-hearted sexy broad who takes no guff, and she gets to growl and bark a lot... we get a wee taste of it here. I like it, it suits her.
Because it's really hard for a ventriloquist to make a 'B' sound, they traditionally use 'G' instead. So, 'Gottle of Geer' is the way we, jokingly, think ventriloquists will make their dummies say 'Bottle of Beer'.
I meant the DVD encoding on the disc itself. UK DVD's don't play on US players and vice versa. Fortunately I found it re-titled as "Good Neighbors" Really annoying especially since I have UK - encoded Dire Straits DVD we'll never see unless we get a UK player :P
Sad to think the two of these wonderful actors are dead now. This kind of TV was wonderful.
Thanks for uploading these :) I hope lovely things happen to you
Our local PBS station ran a season or two of this many years ago. I could swear it was called Good Neighbours.
You're correct, it was. Apparently, it was renamed in the US to avoid confusion with another US show called The Good Life.
It was. And my wife and i wanted it every night on PBS.
I typed in Good neighbors and still found this , watched it in South Dakota, some 30 years ago, lived the Christmas show ❤️
I love this show xx please bring it back with original people if poss , xxx
Tom's house is really big. The rooms are massive, great potential to sell it when they eventually move.
Not one of one but love this series
The scrap man is Albert from Mulberry. LOL 😽
Richard Briers is a gr8 actorgot his autograph last November when I saw him
This show is adorable. I'd wish for a US version since BBC isn't selling a US language DVD, but they'd ruin it!
Sam: "Whoops....dropped a coat, 'ave I?"
Tom: "Oh, I...dropped a what?"
Sam "Coat! Coat hanger- clanger!" LOL
BBC isn't selling a US language DVD? Not sure why they would, they are speaking English you know :)
Us DVD players use different encoding than Uk ones. I have since found them on Amazon as "Good Neighbors ":-)
RIP Richard Briers

If you like Richard Briers watch the movie Fathom with Raquel Welch.

This show reminds me of Green Acres
The American show? I hated it. It was awful. I don’t think it’s anything like this at all.
@@bethshields4903 the premise reminds me of it. Two upscale people who never farmed before try their hand at it
@fauxsham haha. "nom" is the Thai word for breast!
What do you mean? American people speak the same language as British people.
well both actors are dead now unfortunatley!
Felicity Kendal is still very much alive
@@michaelboulton7733 yes I meant the men.
