My Collection: Angel A1 “Speed”

The story: This is according to people who used to work for Angel. As you may know, Angel often did an LCD version of a gun, then did a 'speed' version, with an LED style board, different milling, and a lower price. These were the first run of 4 bodies produced before they scrapped the idea for the breech less design of the SB and AR:K. I will call these the A1 Speed, for lack of an official name. There is no way to make one of these from any existing A1 body, as it has material on top of the breech area that is not present on other bodies. The hardcore angel fans say they lost WDP when they moved manufacturing to Asia.

@@paintballyeahiveheardofit.16 Nah, WDP lost themselves by sticking to the three tube design. When the Timmy and Egos hit the marketplace, which were direct two tube copies of the Angel, that's when the rot started, which was compounded by the reluctance to add eyes and upgrade their firing software. John Clayton and myself did try to bridge the gap with board replacements and aftermarket mods for eyes, but when the Ego took hold there was no stopping it, but it still was and is an Angel in disguise.
