    Truly appreciate locations. Too many times, people think they own the forest and will not share anything. Best of luck on all your hunts.

    I’ve hunted 27 for 30 years. Such a great unit for a bunch of species. We too have seen more and more WT deer.

    Great videos and info. Your dog looks so much happier than the city dogs I see all of the time. I drew an early elk tag this year. I would appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks.

    Do you recommend hunting for a day or camping up there for a coes. We’re can you park a car or do overnight parking. Thanks for the information

      When I took my dad in there we went in a little way then set up camp, but you could camp right at the trailhead also and be fine

      @@scoutitsheditsherwoodit I’d love to have a quick conversation if possible. I have a coes tag, and I’m trying my best to line everything up to be successful. Me and my boy have watched all your content. Anyway thanks for responding. Please let me know if we can chat for a second. Also wanted to ask you about taxidermy

    When scouting how conducive is it to
    bring a well trained pup along? Dog is extremely
    well trained to not chase nor bark at wildlife. zero worry about running off out of site. It would greatly increase my scouting outings if I can bring him.

    • @scoutitsheditsherwoodit
      @scoutitsheditsherwoodit  ปีที่แล้ว

      It can be really helpful, my dog lets me know when they are close by and finds sheds, but it just depends on the dog, try it and see how it goes

    Great video. As you mentioned exactly where you are, where you are going and GPS coordinates I found myself in awe of the info you were giving. Hopefully the miles you put in keep people out. Have you scored the WT at the end of the video?

    I’m going to check out the early archery season for mule deer. Can you recommend an area to start?

    • @scoutitsheditsherwoodit
      @scoutitsheditsherwoodit  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you just want a lot of easy to get to deer try on top by middle mountain, if you want to get back and away from people go behind bear mountain, that is where I would go for mule deer
