    Wonderful film.... I must have covered every inch of that 14 miles, on foot, at some point in my life.... Papermill Lock is a beautiful lunch spot..

    Really enjoyed this as I've walked most of this over the years but didn't really know the section from the A12 going into Chelmo. Great observation and camera work.

    Absolutely pukka brilliantly clever work, if you are thinking of canoeing the Chelmer river this gives you all you need , thanks for your time an£ effort

    how much of the canal is fishable and who controls the fishing rights and are there any accessible day ticket stretches

      Hi Tony. As far as I know, the whole canal is fishable, though Anglers tell me not all of it worth it. Not sure on the day tickets but The Maldon Angling Society are your go-to on this: www.maldonas.co.uk
