Great video and i think this truck comes with the 26 gallon stock tank and you should do a video how to fill up the s&b tank 62 gallon tank at the gas station
The sump is integrated like the rest, what he said was a tank drain is also where you put the fitting for your lift pump to draw fuel from the built in sump.
Im thinking about getting this tank for my lbz. I dont understand why I need a tune for the fuel gauge to work. The new sending unit should have a float, full is full and anything else should read the same? Please elaborate
@@816Diesel I’m interested in getting this tank but I already have an air dog. I wanna make sure I can clear it I’ll be looking forward to the clearance video Thank you
Not sure how that works. Know they are designed for diesel fuel, so may want to call s&b to verify. It will fit just not sure its designed to hold up against gasoline.
The drain plug is the integrated sump for the tank. You drill and tap a 5/8" hole where the plug is. Dont cut a giant hole in the bottom of this tank
100% didn't even realize that until I watched this 2 times. Juat trying to show the layout.

With diesel at 5.00+ per gallon right now it takes 2 pumps to fill up, over $300. Was only able to get 55 in it first time I filled it
So this doesn’t have an integrated sump like some of their other tanks? It’s just sump ready so you can cut the the hole in it?
Yes. All up too the user. The sump spot is the big threaded plug. Makes it plug and play

Not positive. But startlie did tune it into it regardless. Might just effect your distance till empty and avg data.
OH I bet your right. @@816Diesel
Is there enough clearance if I have a lift pump?
Putting a fass on it soon

Thank you
They do clear. Checked with s&b. They were designed to accommodate aftermarket pumps. Sump is easy to convert on these.
@@816Diesel okay awesome. Thank you
What’s the specs on the wheel tire set up? Offset/wheel width/size and what size tires you running? Looks really good!! 🤙
22x12 hostile sprockets -44 and 33,12.50s amp grippers
@@816Diesel thanks dude I appreciate the reply!
Very cool and needed upgrade.
Can this be put on an 07 classic 6.0

Can you get these SNB tanks for a 08 Duramax
Yes this exact tank is 01-10
Hey what’s the specs on the wheel/ tire set up?
Sits too low & a drain plug seems like a better way for thieves to steal some free fuel lol
Doesn't look like it sits too low and if thieves want the fuel, they'll get it whether it has a sump or not.
