Yo! ! ! I have the same bike ,GSF 250V. I love the silencer you have on there. Is that an Akrapovic ? For a 250CC street bike , this thing absolutely ripps and sounds AMAZING ! You gotta love the attention when you ride an inline 4C bike. In Sri Lanka , we're limited to 250CCs on the streets, any bike above 250CC is hard to register and illegal to ride on the normal roads. Hope you enjoy your ride mate ! Subbed ! and love to see more content on the Bandit ! Chees from Sri Lanka !
Hey thanks for watching! The silencer is a cheap one off ebay but still sounds awesome in my opinion. Ah that makes sense, I've been there a couple of times and 250cc is plenty I think! Unfortunately I've sold the Bandit but if you watch a few of my newer videos you'll see what bikes I got! Thabks again
Funny I have and R3 back home in NZ and moved to Melbourne and just purchased a bandit 250. Still waiting to get a roadworthy before I pick it up but your video has me all excited
I'm about to buy a '96er 250V for 900usd with 28k kms, but the owner says it cannot start right now. He says the carburetors needs to be cleaned and syncroed, but I don't know. Why didn't he just do it and then sell it for a higher price? I guess I should pay a visit to check it myself.
Eh it could be genuine if they don't have time or can't be bothered. I personally prefer to buy bikes in good running condition as I don't have the time or patience to try and fix one up
@@gutterrashrides here's a story about mine when i moved to stratford victoria 11years ago from ballina in northern nsw i had no way of getting the bike here so i rode it loaded up with top box and tank bag and through over saddle bags and the only mechanical change i made was taller gearing 40t rear sprocket and that's it it took me 5 days and the bike never missed a beat or used any oil or water and i would happily do it again on it . And it runs better than ever still today
@@bretsnow5058 That's AWESOME. I would love to do a roadtrip like that someday. The 250cc was enough to handle the long stretches of freeway and extra weight from your luggage?
Nope 😂 was modified 3 times and just never worked properly. When starting with choke it'd idle all the way down and stall. It'd then take a while before I could start it again. Because of this I always just started the bike with the throttle slightly cracked and that worked just fine.
You would be completely fine on this bike unless your inseam is very long. It's comfier for taller people than the vtr250 even though your legs will be bent a little more
I bought a 250v after watching your video ❤
Hope you're enjoying it!

Way better than than a r3 bro I've had my 250 bandit for 22years
Gonna have to agree with you on that one. They're both fun but there's no denying the Bandit puts a bigger smile on my face

Tell me more about the choke cable? Did you ever find one that fits? Nice Bike!!
