Lost & not found! After several month out of Colombia, I can`t find the dirtroad. 🇨🇴S2, Ep.1

I have been waiting for this day so long because it is my first riding day in Colombia after a long time. I visited friends and family in Germany, but now daily life in Colombia goes on and I am preparing for upcoming tours. My first ride takes me to the beautiful bay of Taganga as well as to the little Caribean town of Cienaga where I almost get lost. I cannot find the dirtroad I used to take and decide to go home before on of the last rainfalls of the season comes down.

Awesome videos! Just went to Magangue last week! I really love the idea of traveling to places on bike. The traffic in Colombia is a bit more intense than in the states. What advice can you give about learning to ride bike in Colombian streets? Also, have you had to dealt with police giving you a hard time and wanting bribes just to leave you alone as you travel through highways?

Thank you! Yes, for me travelling on a bike is really the best. But better still is to do it on dirtroads, I think it is less dangerous because you don`t have the traffic. So my advice would also be: learn to ride on some remote, quiet, easy dirtroads and try to avoid the highways as much as you can. Another advantage is, you meet only friendly campesino people and no police 😉But no, I never had problems with the police so far...
