    Definitely great advantage to be able to shoot so many different projectiles or just about anything especially with ammo these days

    Looks like a beast, I like the prepper aspect. One of my friends gave me a 1/3 full 5 gallon bucket, filled with old bags of lead shot. I think I might be saving it for a possible new toy somewhere down the line.

    Reminds me of a tale of the old west outlaw period.... Billy the Kid used Deputy Marshal “Pecos Bob” Olinger’s double-barreled shotgun stoked with dimes on him..... this of course resulted in Marshal Bob's untimely end from his own coin-fed scattergun.......

    I would shoot tungsten bird shot out of it with a super long barrel like 3 feet

  • @bigbirderbob3710
    @bigbirderbob3710 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It would probably be fun to get rid of nuts and bolts but as a deer killer I'm not sure shooting a slug at 180 FPS will work. Also if a slug is going 180 fps then what will 1-1/8 oz of shot be useful for? It doesnt matter if you can fit it in the tube. It is too much weight for any useful speed. I lost interest at that point but I bet the long gun version (its not a "rifle" as no rifling in the barrel) would be good for birds and squirrels with shot. They are a little expensive but there aren't that many air shotguns PBBA and someone else makes that 12 gauge that Mr. Hollowpoint. Features. Funny, the recoil is exaggerated by that overly high barrel. Recoil is probably not that bad just wonky. What is the tube volume for these. Also can you switch out a tube and barrel later for the pistol? As a suggestion, add a rifled barrel and it would be a serious product.

      I disagree. it’s perfect for someone like me that has had multiple eye surgeries. i’m constantly dealing with red squirrels, porcupines etc. this makes it almost impossible to miss. calling someone’s invention dumb after they put so much hard work in it just makes you sound dumb. please tell us what you’ve invented and have brought to market??

    • @paulkarkorian6377
      @paulkarkorian6377 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you can not take criticism , that is your problem.
      I did not insult your person by the way, and as for inventing I would rather not to if I will invent such useless tools.
      A Gamo rifle can dispatch any squirrel from a relatively long distance, and you don’t have to worry about your eyes

      shoot, mine you have to top off from 3700 to 4500 every shot when it's not ran through the regulator (max power), otherwise the difference between 1st and second shot is over 300 fps with the .50 barrel (that's with a 45ci tank, its even worse with larger bores; with the .32 barrel, you can almost get two usable shots out of it, just aim high lol). Now, ran through a 550psi paintball regulator, I can get around 50 shots and can launch a 52gr .33 ball around 700fps with no issue (timed QEV., 35" barrel). Not every Airgun is a backyard plinker, where you get 100 mouse farts per fill. When I make a good shot on a groundhog, coyote, or deer, I expect it to die, not writhe around and take off. Sometimes, I like to shoot targets at 300 yards or more.
      a 35" 20 bore (.615-.63") barrel has around 10.57 CI of internal volume, slightly more if it's rifled. a 35" 12 bore (.715-.73) barrel has around 14.25 CI internal volume. It takes a lot of air to pressurize it. By comparison: a 35" .32 barrel has only 2.81 CI volume lol. It would also be very loud without the built in moderator, because with the regulated pressure, that .32 sounds like a .25 unmoderated air rifle (negative side of timed valves). Especially at max power, considering most projectiles (including 400gr, Boat tail/wasp-waisted/Truncated cone .50's) are supersonic with it (when you consider that .50-70 rifle loads were only doing 1250 with a 450gr bullet, and the carbine loads were doing 1200 with a 400gr bullet, and 50-70, along with .45-70, wiped out the bison).
