Brothers and sisters I really want to encourage you to watch the three part series. I just shared by Jim Osman and Justin peters called God doesn't whisper. Thank you Tim for the wonderful word I really don't think it's about being a Pentecostal or a Baptist. It's like Tim said it's about your personal walk with Jesus Christ and the written word. The written word of God is in errant, infallible, and all sufficient in carries all authority.
"Jesus said the works that he did declared who he was." Yes! and just like in all other ways we are to follow him; we will be known by our fruit (works) also, by God and by all people!
Ultimately, I really think people want to have a revelation personal revelation from God. But that poses a problem, your revelation, your personal revelation would have to carry as much authority as the written word of God. And I really believe the written word of God is a closed canon. There's a scripture in the Bible in revelations 20 or in 22. I'm not sure, but it says do not add or subtract from this word. So I'll just leave that with you and you can discern that. Ultimately all authority is in the written word of God.
I was the one who asked the question. Thank you so much for responding. 😊

Gods speak primarily through prayer, when you have answered prayers

My note: from 15:09
is there any book about hudsun and taylor?
Yes, look up the book Hudson Taylor and Maria by Pollock, J C. This more than any other book focuses in on their marriage.
