My compass has a pencil which is very messy, yours seems more like a Sharpie that keeps the lines cleaner. What do you use?

My guess is a fine liner which is a precise marker that has extremely thin lines so that would be a good guess

He has the link in the comments now, but personally I find it's more to do with skill with people/videos like this, rather than equipment. I've just bought a "locking compass" & highly recommend that if you have trouble with the compass. The locking compass only moves in circle size if you roll a little wheel to move it, otherwise it ain't going anywhere, so MUCH easier for amateurs to use! (especially when someone has a disability & limited hand use, like I have)

No, only from 00:00 to 00:58 , then I use the existing points and stretch the compass between them.

How did you make the inner circles?? I mean that time the compass was not 5cm..when I'm doing its the lines becomes crooked.. What to do that time?

Look carefully at 1:18 I made markings in 0.5 cm. From 1:28 to the end the compass is no longer 5 centimeters, I stretch the compass between the existing points. 1:50 I put the compass needle in the first 0,5 marking and I stretch the compass as far as it should, so that the pencil reaches the top of the leaves we drew before. With 0.5 markings, I actually shift the center, but the semicircles always start from the top of the leaf.

The cheapest from a store in my area. The blue-red is made of two broken ones. Everyone asks me what materials I use, I use the cheapest and simplest things. You don't need a compass like mine to draw.
