I have the sweetest 16 week old Cavapoo (or in Australia Cavoodle) girl called Missy. Such beautiful natured dogs 🥰 btw Missy loves other dogs (especially my Mums 12 yr old poodle & it doesn’t go down well with him 😬) & I hear you….i don’t exist 😏. Thanks for a handy little video that I relate to. Owner from Perth West Australia 🤗
I have a 3 month old cavapoo, he is awesome. First week, he cried every night and didn’t want to eat much. After about a week, he’s sleeping through the night and eating 3 meals a day. Our current phase now 3 weeks in is that his loves to bite when he has energy and excited (typically in the morning). Other than that, we love him and will continue to work with him through all his phases!!!
Hi guys, thanks for your videos. I have a 4 month old Cavapoo. She is so smart and we adore her. She eats 3 times a day and she has quite an appetite. Chloe is adorable and yes, you’re right…she sees everything and is friendly to everyone she sees. Still working on housebreaking. As long as I take her out every 2 hours, we’re good. She sometimes has a little accident if she has played hard and got excited. She sleeps through the night in her crate from the first night we got her. Going to try working on a playpen so I can get some quiet time for me…ha haha. I’ll let you know how that goes when we get it in. Ordered a large playpen so she will have lots of room. This will be our second one…she somehow got the top zipper open on the first one. She needs a place to run around.
Really helpful hearing about your experience, we recently got an f1b cavapoo puppy, pretty similar experience to you two, so far, really playful, wants to say hello to absolutely everyone! We have also been experiencing a bit of separation anxiety, in particular when we leave the room or go upstairs, have you had any of this with Obie? Any tips? We are hoping she will get use to this as she gets older, currently only 12 weeks!
Hi Jennifer, Yes so Obie literally will follow us everywhere unless he is super tired and just fall to sleep. But our advise would be to just gradually leave the her a couple at a time on there own or even use something like a sniffing mat to take its attention away from you. I would say Obie is becoming more independent and it just some with time. So I'm sure your little pup she will soon start doing the same 😊 Hope that helps and if you have anymore questions please don't hesitate to ask 🐶🐾
Your puppy is only 12 weeks old and is literally just that a puppy, so of course He/She is gonna want to follow you everywhere and want you to be around her at all times , you just gotta do what you gotta do and eventually they will get it.
Hey guys, thanks for your video ❤️ I’m dreaming about a cavapoo and want to understand all the details. Could you please explain why does dog need to sleep in a crape? Do you close it? 😅 sorry for silly questions, I’ve never had a dog 😅
apparently its a den to them (similar to swaddling a baby) and gives them comfort too. there seems to be lots of benefits, but chief among them is they're not making a mess all over the house or chewing on things they shouldn't be. hope that helps!
We are looking at getting a Cavapoo so this is really helpful. We are at an early stage and just wanted some advice on breeders. Where did you look? Who was your breeder? Thanks! 9:51
We actually found him on a site called pets4homes. We would really recommend it 👌🏼 don't get us wrong it did take us a good 3-4weeks of find Obies Breeder. But once we saw pictures of obies litter we knew instinctly that we found our little guy 🐶
That is awesome ! How are you finding it ? We started training literally the day he came home from toilet training to mouthing, it really helped and he literally was toilet trained in 1 week 😊🐶 please let us know how you are getting on 🥰
Poodles are brilliant dogs so that is why Obie picks up very quickly on training ! Be very conscious of other dogs , Pittie breeds. Our neighbors dog was just attacked on his lawn, watching his dad work in the garden .A women with two pit bulls pulled her offf the street at the unsuspecting old shepherd mix. It was awful ! Lots of blood so never not keep close eye!
No Boogs Obie only jumps when he playing or really excited, and he doesn't nip he only mouthed loads when he was really teething. All of his babies teeth have falling out now so the mouthing has cut down dramatically 🐶😊

The crate is a must at night while potty training.
