they very obviously saw and admire the BOTY 2005 Showcase performance by Ichigeki - many believe Ichigeki's performance in 2005 is one of the best ever seen at BOTY, regardless of their only receiving Best in Show. So its not surprising to see elements of that epic performance adopted by this crew for their routine.
Man, "madness of the show" is the right way to describe it for sure. Slightly sloppy maybe but what a great show. I dig the whole thing - the 8-bit videogame music, the bright primary colors, and the super frantic, high energy thing. Pretty awesome concept imo.
u should see the boty asian showcase they did the same year. when they have the fight scene they got ppl acting in the background too lol its pretty detailed

@FlicFlacGuy so thats why they didnt pass the Qualification to make it to the battle rounds which is the top 4 because it wasnt clean the music made sense with the way they was expressing them selves you can ask any b-boy at a judge level they would say the same thing the music was perfect for their routine just they wasn't clean enough

of course kaku is dope, i've never denied that, but hes doin all the time the same stuff, headspin - 2000, windmill, and so one, nuthin new, while riyuji can do almost all of the powermoves and has variety in his moves. but both are good bboys anyway, they would be probably even better if they put in some foundation ;) peace

Are you a dance major? Cause I'd like to see anyone who isn't do what they're doing. They atleast don't have many mistakes on timing, I would know music and dance are inter-related and they did a much better job than many others would.

I dunno why but I found the show more impressive from the audience view instead of the DVD quality. The DVD quality is better in terms of sound and video quality. But I got more hype for just some person recording from the audience. Same with the PHASE T show. The views the camera people get are professional but it makes the show look wack. It's weird. And this is one of my favourite shows too.
