- During times of tribulation and hardship, what kind of a Muslim are you, asks Sheikh Abdullah Oduro as he recounts the inspiring story of Um Salama, one of the wives of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Her resilience in the face of persecution in the early days of Islam in Mecca, her migration to Abyssinia then return to Mecca only to be separated from her beloved husband and and child, to her final migration to Madina and the loss of her husband, martyred following the Battle of Uhud. Throughout her entire ordeal, it would have been easy for her to go back on her faith, but she stood her ground, was blessed with a firm heart. Allah says that some people worship him on a verge but if a trial befalls them, they simply give up. Let us not be them. As Muslims today, we “perceive” that things will be evil for us, which is precisely the reason why we must connect with Allah. There will alway be an Abu Lahab in every generation and so it’s our responsibility to continue to serve Allah as best we can by serving other people, whether or not they are Muslim and whether or not they hate us.

Okay I’m Christian and I want to have a conversation right now. Jesus is coming EXTREMELY EXTREMELY SOON! When this happens it will be too late to get to know him. Cause the Bible says for those who accept Jesus as lord and savior and accept in your heart shall have ever lasting life. If you don’t there’s only one other place to go hell. The Bible says in the last days there will be natural disasters, teenage pregnancies, false prophets, people will start getting dreams and visions from the lord of judgement day and the rapture. Also the Bible says men will be lovers of themselves which is the lgbqt community. This is exactly going on in the world today. People are getting dreams from god saying he’s not only coming soon he’s coming extremely soon. This is the season the generation he is coming. Now explain how can Muhammad be a prophet or a man of god when he has 12 wives. When it’s good to hit your wife. When he promoted war and violence and had no miracles. Jesus’s teachings are far more superior than Muhammad’s. Jesus teaches good. Not to live by the sword. Jesus performed miracles and brought a dead man back to life and resurrected 3 days after his death. So please think about Christianity to mind. Once you change and accept Jesus in your heart, your life will change for the good. God bless.

I just discovered this Shaykh and Mashaallah, I am impressed. Not only he talked about a subject that's not often talked about, but he also did it with an eloquence that I unfortunately find rare nowadays. May Allah preserve this great man and grand him Jannah.
He and all Muslims serve a false god.. it's really the devil in disguise.. God gave the promise to Abraham and Sarah not Abraham and Hagar.. because Sarah was impatient she (through her disobedience) made Abraham have a child with hagar which brings forth Ishmael which brings forth Mohammed.. Abraham presents Ishmael to God and and says NO through you and SARAH I will hold my covenant/promise. Abraham and Sarah brings forth Isaac which brings forth Jesus.. the Koran says Jesus did miracles, was born of a virgin through the spirit of God.. your Koran says to believe all the prophets and the prophets believe that Jesus is the son of God died and resurrected..but the Koran says that Jesus didn't die on the cross? Doesn't that seem fishy to you?? Plus the god in the Koran calls himself The Great deceiver.. that deceiver is the devil.. who deceived Sarah into making Abraham have sex with hagar bringing forth a false promise..that's why Muslims hate Christians it's a spiritual war..Satan hates Godly people.. it is what it is..those are truths ..
I have felt pulled to Islam all my life. I'm American an army veteran and was raised catholic in California. Yet I have always felt drawn magnetically towards Islam. My family doesn't know my wife does not understand she is christian I accept that I think any faith in god is better than none but I cannot seem to change my desire to convert to Islam. I know people here in America will be rude and will ridicule me but I don't think I should ignore what Allah is telling me. To me Islam feels like a calling.
