Hey PlayBasic Coders! Welcome back to the channel! Today, we're diving into some awesome updates in our web site. Let's break it down!
- DB support
We've revamped the DB editing features. Now, you can edit different records with ease, thanks to our new, user-friendly controls.
- Source Code Editor Upgrades
One major addition is the ability to upload secure attachments. Let's pick a record and see it in action. You can now attach files and manage them effortlessly.
- New Controls
Gallery Control: Upload and manage photos seamlessly.
Attachments Control: Attach files, save them, and manage them just like images.
- Handling Files
We've set a file size limit (currently 256k), but you can upload as many files as you want, as long as you stay within the total size limit.
- Image and Attachment Management
Move, delete, and organize your images. Deleted items go to a trash state, so you can recover them if needed. Attachments will soon have the same functionality.
Display Enhancements
- We're working on displaying attachments at the bottom of your records. You'll have the option to show your gallery there or within the content using image tags. Perfect for tutorials!
Conversion and Storage
Converting old formats to new ones has been a focus. Each database type can have its own attachments location. Secure downloads ensure only authorized users access the files.
Access Levels
Different account levels dictate the amount of media you can attach. New users have a lower limit, while trusted users can upload more.
Future Updates
Better Article Editing: We'll introduce new controls for easier formatting and inserting media.
Scheduled Posts: Write posts in advance and schedule them to go live automatically.
Consistent Styling: We're aiming for a unified look across the site.
