THE owner of Las Vegas’ first twenty-four hour nail bar has lifted the lid on the ‘freaky’ world of Sin City salons. Nyisha Goodwin, 36, the co-owner of Get Nailed 24/7, sees the weird and wonderful as rowdy tourists and quirky locals live it up in the entertainment capital of the world.

I was born and raised in LV & I've been to every nail salon in the valley including this one. This salon isn't even 24/7, they close at 2am 😑

I love this concept or at least I wish nail salons open later. It's extremely difficult to find a nail salon open later than 7pm.
Boy they would hate me. I do not go to the salon to chat I go to relax. I am polite and all but other than saying what I want and thank you and such I am not there to make a friend. Hi how are you this is what I want...Thank you you can chat to me but I just like to relax...most salons like this cause theyre tired of entertaining as well

Thats a good question. I'm sure there are many that aren't and they get away with it until state board comes around. Scary to think about. None of them look like they cared about their job, either so imagine how nasty it is in there

I LOOOOOOOVE the idea of getting nails done 24/7. Not only for nail shop but EVERY shop. Bcuz they are times that you need to buy or do something right before or after the working times. So, I LOVE the idea! 👍🏻

I've had DSPS most of my life. (Used to have to get up for school at 5 am, and on the weekends I'd fall asleep at 5 am, so I know it's something neurological--it's lasted through many life stages.) I retire to bed at around 8 am these days and awaken around 3 pm. So indeed I support 24/7 *anything*. It's frustrating when everything is closed in the middle of your day. Nowadays with the pandemic even Walmart closes at 7:30, which often leaves me scrambling. It'd be fantastic to be able to get my nails done at 3 am.

I am VERY picky where I go. If they go not pull my nails tools out of sterile packages I am gone. I would run out of there at the sight of those dirty polish bottles. If they can't even clean those, lord knows they are not cleaning anything else. Polish is the first thing you go to at the salon....😷😷😷

This nail shop is convenient bit I feel like because it's opened 24 hours it would not be clean, stuff would not be sanitized and people would be tired and might do a sloppy job. But I think it's very good though

Usually if it’s a reputable establishment they follow all of the regulations but its gross and sad that a lot of those little hole in the wall places care more about money than rules and/or are just lazy and pig out. The good places will have the right equipment for sanitization, after I got my nail tech license back in the day (so I apologize if my directions aren’t exact) I became super self aware on how to tell if a place is clean and sanitized or if they are just faking it- because it can actually be pretty difficult especially if they’re faking it and pretend to care unlike the other side of the fence where they just don’t give a crap and let you see its dirty. When they fake it they usually will have those “UV sanitization lights” that look like a mini toaster oven but with blue lighting (UV lights) placed around the salon within the clients bird eye view, and they’ll strategically place implements and towels in it that will never get used because they are so old and grody and have been sitting in the container for years. If they do not soak their implements for a while in barbicide or any other type of chemical disinfectant after each use then you better tie your 👟 and start running towards the door 😂
I don’t get my nails done, or manicured at a salon, but I would love just to sit in that salon & listen & watch & just enjoy the ambience, it looks fun!
