F yeah up my way. A little to early this season unfortunately hence the real hard fishing. It’s was a hard weekend for most last weekend out at shady but I managed a 94 and I put my uncle on a 103 no live lol. Cheers.
did shady camp in 1984 as part of a 3 week venture to 2 other systems with a few mates. tell u now mate the road in wasnt anywhere close to the highway u drove in on. it was a shambles of a buffalo track, no exaggeration. wats going with the accommodation. all that wasnt there there was u huge tree bout 300m from the river n dirt with some grass. first night we had to dive for the vehicles because a herd of buffalos ran straight through our camp to the water, was a close call. after that we slept in the vehicles for those 5 nights. caught my best barra at shady to this date at 136 bout 100m upstream from the rock bar. the crocs where crazy mad so care had to be taken wen getting in n out of the boat. still have the old school pic of wat it looked like bak then. nice 6 days spent Bowlys.
Out in the areas that I fish you drive across crossings, and there’s thousands of Barra You’re going to commercial fishing charters, it can be good especially this tummy. Normally you get good Barra
Hey Bowls, your videos are so good man, it’s seriously impressive, the editing, the filming, the quality of the fish that you catch, it’s honestly amazing. been loving the vids so much i copped the barra snapback. keep it up mate. 👍
l live jn Adelaide and have fished across Australia and the world for the last 66 years. You asked for suggestions for future fshing destinatons - so l recommend Alaska. 15 years ago l had a month-long vacation in Alaska and it was epic. The scenery, wildlife and fishing were astonishing. l spent several days doing guided salmon fishng trips along the Kenai river as well as streams near Cordova and on Kodiak lsland. l also did a halibut boat charter out of Homer. lt was the most memorable holiday of my life - and the fishng was off the richter scale.
Hey mate, why did you head all the way to NT. I saw they were catching meter barra right beside the prossie boat ramp 😅 😅😅 Good video mate. Enjoyed the trip.
here we are watching a fishing vid oh nvm we got a yound to middle aged guy swimming in a pool nah im just shit stirring keep up the good work loving it
From in the gulf (Normanton). Loved this video from over there mate, bit rough with the dull days for you tho, but that's fishing. We probably don't get that much of a run off like what the Daly does however there are plenty of barra around. Only problem would be getting up this way. So between our local rivers and the ones close to Burketown, I think you would be able to have a good trip. Wet season and dry. Landbased and from boats. Just a thought. Either way absolutely loved the video.👏👏
Was more of a trip together to showcase the fishing. Normally on his guided trip he wouldn’t cast at all hence why I mentioned it when he caught his big fish 👌🏻
Yep, I get that. I actually commented before you made those comments in the vid. Still, he was quick to jump onto what could have been your big fish. Cheers@@bowlysfishing
Never had anything against livescope until I watched this video. Literally all he did was watch the screen. Literally first day was 12h of old mate watching a screen. I just couldn't fish like that aye. Each to their own but that has just fully turned me off LS
Well deserved 3️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ subs Bowly. Go the curly vibe.😁🎣👍
Thanks matey 🙏
That live scope posture
@17:00 of all the coastline in N.T and you're 3 boats deep, mate, i'd be pi$$ed. Glad you caught a few.
So sick to see you come to my home state, glad you enjoyed your trip mate😁
Enjoyed that some epic hook ups but frustrating fishing at times, very similar to our River mouth trips in Gabon for Tarpon.
Thankyou well done.😎🎣🐟👍🏻
Thanks for watching 🙏
Great to see you in the NT Bowley
So good to see you in the Top End and areas that I fish 🤘 looks like it was tough going out there though you guys got it done!
That was awesome! Well done!
Thanks mate 🙏
pretty work mateeee! I was wondering where you had been when you mentioned a big trip away :-)
Thanks mate. Been just copping 30 knots and rain everyday at home besides this trip 😂

Great video Bowly - worth the wait!
Cheers Glenn!

Seems like back home has been good for Barra as well
That’s fishing

I hate seeing clients not catch a fish
What lure catch you the most fish
Haha lets go big barra on live sick
Where are u from initially bowls
I am from Brisbane originally
Yo love the vid
What was your favourite luerw
The guide seemed off..
Too early for the run off, still at least a month before it fires
Three casts in and I’m bored with the fishing…. But hey that’s just me. Great video nonetheless
Big vibes fished slow when they are being picky, really slow lazy lifts get them going for some reason
How big?
@@islandhopper7224 120 plus
live scope looking gay as ever 🔥
Worth the $400 for those beautiful fish on the last day.
100%
hey bowly
👋
Was he your guide or mate?
Not good etiquette for the guide to fish. Especially when they take prime casting spots in the boat.
Was more of a trip together to showcase the fishing. Normally on his guided trip he wouldn’t cast at all hence why I mentioned it when he caught his big fish 👌🏻

Whatever you enjoy doing on the water fishing you should do! As long as it’s not hurting anyone 👌🏻
Weak effort targeting barra and not casting on snags. Dont rely on the sonar all the time
Probs wouldn't laugh when a bloke bombs a good fish.
Probably not 😂
First comment 🎉🎉 😂
You don't know your hostess training name?
How pretentious
