I think you overstuffed it. When this happens just put a match to the smoke. Since it is uncombusted gas it will oftentimes burst directly into flames, getting the fire going very fast. Cheers👍🙂
I agree. As I learn to use the stove I learn what works best. Found out pellets work really well! To your point about relighting the smoke, it worked! Thank you for the feedback and the view!
sticks must be half that size or below the top so your grill and pot can fit on top. i own this and the bio grill/firepit. used correctly, it is very efficient.
Ok, I see what you are saying. Makes sense. I have the BioLite Firepit+ so as soon as you said that I remembered my firepit and keeping the wood below the air pipes so they can burn the excess fuel/smoke. Thank you for that. I will probably make another video and try that as well as pellets. I have a pellet stove in my home and I hesr this burn extremely efficient on peets. Plus a 40lbs bag of pellets is $6! Goes a long way in a small campstove!
Based on what I know, this is a top burn stove. There's actually very little fire down where the material is. It releases a lot of smoke which in turn combust at the top of the stove with help from the fan.
@user-js9xn9qv1g Ah, I see. Yes, not as convenient as for instance a jet boil but keep in mind this has its own area that it is good in. For what it is, it does work well. I am working on another video and I cooked some food and was pleasantly surprised!
It does start up on it's own. I never charged the battery before using the stove and it holds a charge for months.
As I have had more of a chance to use it, you're right. It detects the temp enough to begin the fan! Thank you so much for the advice!

is this a top burn stove rather then a bottom up burn?

1 hour?! without tea or meat?
May you elaborate?
@@CodyMartinOutdoors it is too difficult to keep burning for preparing or boiling, or you just was no hungry?

A lot of work to charge a phone.
I agree. If I remember specifications, it charges at 3 watts. It works if all else fails and appreciate the feature.
Its more for when disaster happens.
@@Hesseishere definitely something would come in handy or out in the back country car camping?
