Writing level 1 in February and im in agreement with alot of these! I will have put in around 400 hours but I did take some days off because working 50-70 hours a week and studying burnt me out a ton. I did just graduate from a CFA affiliated finance degree so I feel like I had a good leg up on some competitors on some of the more technical finance units! Overall I’m just going to enjoy the experience and I love the feeling of putting my brain to good use

Memorizing the formulas toward the end close to the exam date: That worked for me for Level 2.
Also when memorizing those formulas, I also recall the tangential concepts related to them.

I was able to pass level 1 in May 2021. I never stressed about formulas. If you do enough practice problems, you will learn a good portion of the formulas naturally over time. Yea, I still rewrote formulas 10-20 times in the last month, but I never stressed about it. The key for me was doing practice questions and consistently reviewing material that I previously covered. Just study every day and focus on learning. Don’t think about a minimum passing score or the possibly low pass rate. Best of luck.

I really enjoy math and statistics and want to use them computationally and I guess no field is better than finance as per my interest, hence I want to pursue MS in Financial Engineering or Quantitative Finance or relevant fields after my bachelor's which is ending after a year and want to work in Investment banking firms.
