As a person with insomnia, I tend to play AJ really late. You’re right. There isn’t much trading activity as during the day, but nothing out of the ordinary happens. Most of it is role playing, and quite-ness. AJ is the same, just a little more absent. Also, AJHQ is located in Utah, so when it is 12 AM there, it’s a new day in Jamaa! AJ runs on that time. No idea what time zone though. ^-^

So my little sister and I were playing Animal Jam.
My little sister went to my den and hid there, I went to my den to look for her... My laptop was lagging soooo bad that I had to refresh.. Then when I went there it says that no one was at my den... I clicked at my sister's nametag in my buddies list and clicked on the blue tiger thingy ( the button that makes you follow people ) so when when I was about to click it it said Null's den. I clicked on it and it didn't teleport me. So then I went and searched for Null... and when his player card appeared... the first second his animal was visible but then... it disappeared.. So my sister said " Pink! Why are you taking so long to find me?" I was confused because it literally said no one was at my den, and that she was at "Null's den", Null's look is invisible and it was SOO strange! I tested it again... and it worked! It's soooooo spooky!

Once on Animal Jam i was looking to trade one of my friends( I knew them irl owo) , they were scared. I asked them what's wrong, They just stayed silent then she said " My father is gone now. " It really freaked me out considering her mom is already in the hospital, They said another sentence " theres a tornado softlyz. " I kept on telling her get to shelter she wouldn't listen she spammed " Tornado " In the chat Then a hour passed, She didn't say anything...She Was kicked off by animal jam cause of how long they were gone, I chatted her on discord " Are you okay?! " She wouldn't replay. I think shes gone now,

I remember once playing Animal Jam at 3 AM. It was actually pretty terrifying because Liza wouldn't stop following me wherever I went she was right behind me. She didn't even have any eyes and she wasn't saying anything. Then it kept on glitching. So what happened was she came closer to the screen every 5 or so seconds for about a split second and then going back to following me. I was so creeped out. DONT PLAY ANIMAL JAM AT 3 AM KIDS!!!

Some weird stuff happened to me while playing AJ at 3:00 A.M...... This random person was a black wolf and a new jammer and followed me wherever I went and I dunno how they kept finding me..... After that happened I went on AJ the next day and I was banned... I literally did nothing and didn't say anything at all. That just freaked me out. Of course I went on a backup because I didn't know what was gonna happen so it was all good. But that was just totally weird....

My friend played really late and she adopted a bunny and when they were in her den a nm wolf came (the child’s buddy) and he was all black with the crossed out eyes and he was like “I NEED U” and “I WILL TAKE CARE OF U” and “COME NOW OR ELSE” and the child was “like o uh that’s my buddy he can be weird sometimes” so she locked them both out and was creeped out
I play AJ at 3 AM, and pretty much any time of the night. I'm a night owl, and I've never really seen anything creepy happen.

One time I was playing AJ one day, (not at 3 a.m,), and people were like "PLEASE GIVE US GRASS FED ORPHAN MEAT". It made me laugh, though.
(ik this wasnt late or anything but i thought it was really weird but knowing the pillow room and weirdos like to be in it probably was that)
So one day I was looking for a roleplay in the pillow room, and uhm.. there was seals in a line, in the miidle of the pillow room, with squid hats and in rainbow order.... They were also saying, "join our feast we are eating toes" or something like that. And a few minutes later a arctic wolf said, "Id reather have my toes get eaten than join the feast".... Since then I've believed the pillow room is cursed, and yet still go there for roleplays.
I remember playing at 3 am and i was in the forest. The roleplay was a little creepier than usual. Everyones eyes were red. They said they wanted to boil me as a offering to Mira. It got very weird fast. I went back to my den and they followed me when it was LOCKED! I swear, this really happened!

I thought they had a fruit basket which is the item I was trading for so I went in my den and then I saw a black wolf then another wolf came in my den witch a pig they where all black with the weird eyes and one of the wolfs said your spike looks tasty?? There's this thing call time zones. 3am for you could be 10pm for someone else. 3am on AJ for me is actually quite full since it's probably day time for nearly all the other players (who're likely from the US) and not as many people live in the southern hemisphere like me where it's night..

In animal jam and u go to the play as ur pet party and if ur pet is for example a hamster and u trade ur hamster u will be invisible!!
