The score for this film is one of Arnold's best, imo. Using the Bond theme as a motif all over the place, with just small doses of late 90's flair, just delightful.
The World Is Not Enough is absolutely the most unfairly overhated and underrated Bond movie along with Octopussy if you ask me! Both films are in my top 10!
Although TWINE is mediocre at best as a film, I'll admit there's some great damn action set pieces and Bond moments, like this boat chase, Bond's escape from that meeting in Spain, the ski gunfight...
This was my first bond film I saw in cinema and I went to see this 3 times 1st time saw was wow specially the river Thames chase and the bond theme blasting out when the boat comes to millennium dome at the time of filmming it was not complete.
From 3:17 onwards, this acts as the end credits theme for any Bondverse story (film/TV). "I'll be gentle..." "Ohhhh, James..." *cue the Bond triumphant precredit sequence - gunbarrel, then roll the credits*
Interesting title...wonder if Pink Floyd ever noticed this was kind of a rip-off of the title of one of their songs (Come In #51, Your Time Is Up, which later became Careful With That Axe, Eugene)?
At 3:57 in the movie the rest of the track cuts out and it’s just the base guitar and other brass instruments playing. Is it possible a version of that exists?
It’s still the same length they just removed an instrument from this section so it’s technically an edit to the track. An extended version of this probably exists but not looking for that.
I've been looking for that since the film came out. 😂 I was disappointed that remixed section wasn't on this expanded soundtrack release, not to mention the film version of the end credits. I'd also like to see a mix of this track with the electronic elements mixed to the rear and the strings/brass/guitar etc brought to the front...
BOND FANS I NEED YOUR HELP: Which Bond film rips a phrase from the Bruch violin concerto no. 1 in g minor opus 26? The part I am speaking of is in the first movement usually around timestamp 5:00-7:00 where the violinist rests and the orchestra comes in and plays by themselves for a little bit. It is the first few measures of the violinist resting. You will recognize it when you hear it. I am not a huge film watcher but I swear it is from a Bond movie. Please help me out! Thanks!

This is definitely the best Bond Score from Arnold.

@@davider6884 ok thats sad to hear. For me TWINE is one of the best bonds.

It is a criminally underrated movie i agree. Maybe it was too modern at the time, i dunno.
The echo sound in this is just unreal.
"woov woov woov"
Reminds me of Goldeneye a bit
It was sexy and badass as hell.
The best opening sequence score to ever be made!
Yes, the interaction between strings and horns is amazing....
I thought tomorrow never dies and the world is not enough great bond films always worth a re watch
I never got bored of it. People just hate this movie for some obscure reasons, one of them being that they just don't like Pierce.
God bless David Arnold for including that record scratching
My favorite Bond chase
Best action scene from Brosnan's films.
All saigon chase is better than

1:01 This segment was included in the final boss soundtrack in the James Bond Nightfire game.
Zimmer do you hear that? that's how action score is done!
Listen to MI2 - Bare Island :)
Indeed, we hope he does a good job with no time to die
@@FabioMateus I just heard a track called matera. Very disappointed
@@agm9525 Guessing this is a joke.
Bruhh Dunkirk & Dune are some of his best works.
This is my type of jam.
This movie made Middle East and Comunist Asia, cool places to go on vacation. XD
I think it's not a good idea if I'm listening this track while driving.
Unless your car is Lotus which can drive underwater 😅
Same should go for "Backseat Driver" from Tomorrow Never Dies. If I listened to that whilst driving, I'd be driving all over the place.
I dunno why, but I just cannot get enough of 2:31
4:21

its because in the movie the chase is cut. full ver is uploaded here th-cam.com/video/l-Tdmxx54PY/w-d-xo.html
they cut it due to time constraints

No idea, bro.
Typical Hans Klok (illusionist) performance music.
