Best part of WC3 is that rushing just feels like part of the game, whereas in SC2 it makes you the scum of the earth
Rushing in sc2 is to try and catch your oppnent unprepared while teching or expanding economy. Goal is to win right then. It might feel scummy if your plan is to go into mid and late game and you lose quickly but its a viable strategy. Rushing in wc3 is more about denying/delaying creeps and expo instead of outright winning the game right away. Rushing the base in wc3 is very hard because every race has innate defenses, and because unit counts and build times are much lower/slower, all their production is right there, where as yours is usually across the map.
@mewple very well said. I used to really hate WC3's speed, but after watching way too much SC2, I actually find the speed to be much more relaxing. SC2, it's like, someone walks into another person's army, and if they're on a move command, they just get slaughtered. By the time you check the map and move them away, most of them are gone. SC2 is like blitz chess, and WC3 is like UNO.
Yeah and ontop kf that you can do rushes at any time the game is very un understood there are so many possibilites that are unexplored cause they are risky

Still find it funny when people spam buttons, like they get a high apm 200 like this but their actual actuaions are like 24 that actually affect the game and the other 200 is just random/semi random button presses that just inflate apm count xD.

Gold league in most games is "still bad at the game but confidently bad at the game"- its why so many people get stuck there. At that point they are convinced they are good enough and know everything. Its just "something *insert cope* in the game or my team mates" holding them back.
Playing Bronze is best because you can play crappy builds for fun instead of chasing meta.

I'm a new Warcraft fan, and I just bought Warcraft 3 Reforged yesterday after months of saving (Warcraft 3 Reforged is quite expensive in Indonesia, 600k IDR). And i wanna ask something, why all SC2 pros and WC pros always click their mouse over and over again?

It's a sort of a warm-up. Just like a football player will stretch before a match, a wc3 player might wish to warm up their fingers.

Hello, back in the day.. there was a double/triple hero mass ghoul rush that involved skipping most early building to go into tier 2 and relying on one zigg and tier 2 building attack as your only defense? Rush tk tier 3 tk get ghoul frenzy.

At 1080p the video started skipping frames, i thought it was Grubby's ping issue, then realised it was the video. Never happened before. I wonder what changed

Damn it just dawned on me how crazy strong it is to worker harras UD while he's teching. Can't just pull lumber peons to fill the gold. Either you delay the tech massively or you put them out of gold for a while. If they don't defend well enough that is.

19:28 lol what kind of revisionist history is this? Somebody tell this guy games existed before 1998 and the FPS genre was alive and prosperous long before Half-Life and Counter-Strike.
The FPS genre wasn't called FPS before Half-Life, they were DOOM and DOOM Clones. Even Quake was called a DOOM clone at one point, despite having been made by nearly the exact same team as DOOM working on it.
Half-Life did revolutionize the FPS genre, how a linear story is told, etc. Counter-Strike then swooped in and made the most tactical of FPS. All in 1998-1999. Unreal is in some ways better than HL, but it still had some Quake in it, since it came before Half-Life.

While yes Half-Life certainly raised the bar of how story telling and design can be done in the FPS genre to pretend like it created the term FPS or that the games didn't take off until it and its mod is so woefully wrong its laughable. Games were called DOOM clones colloquially because most frankly were but that wasn't their "genre".

Skeletons are magical so i think as long as there are flesh and bodies , Skeletons will be summoned .

Half-Life is not multyplayer 😢 Sad but true. Fun to play with friends but it's not for everyone 😅. The Offsprings are though 😊 Differnet genre.

If you are talking about the last game, it is not very difficult to find your opponent in that map, as the map consists of only 3 narrow corridors with creeps scarcely spread along the sides
When Grubby TP'd after trying to kill the goldmine, going to the lab camp into the red camp is the most logical decision, as the alternative is to run into your opponent's base when your army is weaker than them, or to walk across the map just to get to the same red camp. It wasn't a snipe, just a good map awareness by the opponent

maybe he's seen people say that, or maybe he actually does it for other games
