John McGuinness MBE was absolute Gold. I instantly recognise that John is a massive fan of the TT, I imagine his goal at the TT is the same as it was when he used to watch it as a lad and that is just to be part of it, to ride his Bike as hard as he can.
What a great way to spend 2 hours while the football was on, top job boys 🏁

Loved watching this. John just being himself and just chatting away to the lads. How anyone can comment on whether he should still be racing when he’s faster than ever and loving riding his bikes is beyond me. Loved seeing him get on the podium again at NW200 this year. He got the biggest cheer of the day. I hope he keeps racing and doing things his way, and people mind their own business and leave him to it, regardless of his weight or where he finishes. Great to hear Honda have a ride for him next year again. He’s a brilliant ambassador for them and the sport.

Great episode, absolutely loved it. I met John at Honda in Belfast quite a few years ago and he was so lovely.
What an absolute pleasure that was to listen to that so many up and down in that interview what a legend you are. And like you said John until they can beat you you’re not having a bike brilliant 👏👏
On the exit of Glen Helen the water was seeping up through the middle of the road, they hadn’t sealed it when they resurfaced, a cock up basically. It needs to be sorted, ideally before the Manx but, more likely by TT 2025. It meant rain flags for most of the 2 weeks, not great for marshals who have to hold them for hours at a time.
These absolute clowns slagging John off for coming back to the TT. Same ones who probably can't even ride a BMX ffs.

Trust me john i was a cyclists that rode 200 miles a week and rsn 50 miles in the welsh mountains until i had a accident which resulted in major spine surgery .

John is a living legend & national treasure, deserves a free pass to do the tt for as long as he wants.
What truly touched me is how he cares about all the other lads & looks after them with advice/ reassurance etc , putting Ben birchall in touch with the right surgeon so he didn’t have have his fingers off etc etc
I wouldn’t be surprised if he gets
quicker but I’d happy watch him wobble round on a c90 . Special.

Another great show! Congrats on the TT podium Dom- well earned. These interviews are priceless for those of us that have only but dreamed about going to the TT, let alone getting to talk shop with the legends of the roads like some old pals in the garage over a few pints. For the keyboard idiots, I couldn't think of nothing better than seeing Johnny Mac and Rutter somehow making a TT podium in the future.
I remember the 2003 tt very well, very emotional with John on the monster mob Ducati , adrian archibald but the tragedy of losing DJ
John is an absolute gent and a proper fella. So talented and likeable yet so humble. Always time for people he will probably always be number 1 in my eyes. Imagine some anonymous nobody sat in their box bedroom calling him out on twitter likely sat in their underpants reeking of urine 😂😂😂😂😂 good on big John. Dom too a great gifted and humble lad no edge with him met them both in person they're a credit to the sport

Really interesting hearing the chat about keyboard warriors and online criticism. I feel really sorry for the riders and teams who put in so much just to have f..kwits sitting at home spouting nonsense for no reason, without really thinking about how much it can rock people. It's just casual bull, and the 0.1% don't speak for the 'real fans'. Keep up the good work guys, I love these pods.
