Except m/k are penalized for being accurate and learning a skill. Roller benefits from headshots not doing much more dmg to head. Decreases skill gap even more for casuals as well.

I'm glad the only two weapons I leveled up in prep for warzone have already been nerfed. Luckily it only takes 3-5 business days to max a weapon out in this game...
@SpringSupers For many of us, this is just a weapon leveling tool for warzone. I truly don't want to play this game any more than I have to, and certainly don't want to invest months of the little bit of time I have after work and the kids are in bed just leveling to keep up with the meta. I'm not trying to spend a year trying to max everything out, only to restart the process next October.
@ go buy some double xp monster cases. I work 11 hours a day including Saturdays. I will have plenty of time to play this game all the way through and play warzone by this time next year. Being able to burn through the game’s content is terrible for player retention and that’s what any triple A studio uses as a performance indicator for their titles. I’m sorry it takes a while to unlock stuff, but the alternative is hemorrhaging player count.

Looks like some of these changes were done to change how the weapons work in Hardcore, which is odd. HC in this game has 22HP, so some of these changes do actually make a big difference in there. Still an odd patch overall.
This just reminds me of their placeholder sounds and animations in CW that were later replaced. Treyarch doesnt seem to have enough time to make the game they want so they maintain placeholders while they try do make their intended design happen - This makes the most sense as there is no way they decided to "rework" the ARs this early on.
I’m usually fine with a lower Headshot multiplier but its very annoying to see some guns require ALL headshots to lower TTK or have basically no headshot benefit. I thought Treyarch had learned their lesson with Cold War which tended to have decent headshots.
yeah I'm not sure why they're trying to make the hardcore experience miserable. I love getting 1 tapped by pistols across the map while my assault rifle with long barrel shoots skittles!
Yeh there’s a glitch with the new Endowment AMES 85 blueprint where it replaces your under barrel you change out in gunsmith with the blueprint grenade launcher it comes with 😅
It’s stupid that the game punishes you for taking skill shots at players. It basically is rewarding head glitchers. This is one of the reasons battlefield or even rainbow six gets their damage models right. Reward skilled aim. Headshots should at minimum be a 50% increase to whatever damage you initially deal.
what a strange patch to put out as your first patch - changing such a core aspect of the damage such as damage ranges that would have been a design decision a while ago. Why have the odd new ranges in the first place if youre just going to revert back to more standard COD ranges a couple weeks later? the shots to kill are kind of unchanged as well so its just so weird. Maybe it was some warzone compatibility and they're new idea for damage ranges didn't work with it, they had to change them to more traditional cod ones who knows.
I've come here to ask for help true, I've been playing BO6 for 50 hours but my sens in MW3 is 800 dpi 4 in game but in B06 It feels faster than MW3. I can't aim like I normally do. I haven't found my sens in this game.
Game has been out a week and they're already nerfing things that are good. The goal should be to bring up underperforming weapons. They did this the last 2 years and it makes for 2 guns viable
I don’t think the ARs needed nerfing. If you’re in a CQB situsituation with an AR against an SMG you are cooked and so many of the maps are very small so almost all of these maps favor the SMGs. Now the medium short and longer distances the advantage goes to the AR like it should.
@@grendelbendelhe might have meant that marksman rifles can shine at the ranges they were supposed to be the best at, instead of getting outgunned easily by ARs that still dominated in close and medium range
@@grendelbendel Marksman rifles (the 2 burst ones anyway) have been nothing but pain going for headshots and just generally using them. 2 shots in one burst, then it takes 2 more in 2 subsequent bursts which means I lose like 80% of my gunfights. Burst rifles have been extremely inconsistent, so much so that I am shocked every time I get a 1 burst kill.
Your settings probably reset. Also why are you rocking unlimited FPS. Lock your refresh rate to like 2 or 3 under whatever your monitor can top out at. Helps with frame tearing
I believe they didn't reduce your fps. I have checked yet but the fsr frame gen was on even though it didn't show in the game as on. I turned it off from the game files my fps went from 300 to 200 but gpu time greatly decreased
They need to rework sniper flinch. You can light up a sniper and they will just one shot you through the barrage of bullets. SnD is kind of a nightmare currently cuz of the snipers
Sniper flinch is actually pretty crazy this year. This is the one year where I will say, COD finally gave snipers some flinch, it’s only one attachment that snipers get to kinda stop the flinch.
@ I feel the flinch on mnk but I don’t on controller. It makes sense to give more to mnk but I don’t feel like controller has enough. If your being actively shot aim with a sniper should be crazy hard. Otherwise you can’t challenge anyone hard scoping.
Shotguns are really difficult to accurately represent on charts because of the pellet spread and pellet damage mechanics. I attempted it for WZ for some of the shotguns, but it is a ton of work and just not worth the time investment for me :(

Hi I’m wondering if you could give me advice after update my games basically broken having major packet burst issue, I’m on pc GeForce rtx 4060 ect usually would run a strong 180 fps no issues, edit, I tried warzone and it’s fine just bo6
Don't ask me why, but lowering my texture quality fixed my issue with packet bursts. My PC is more than capable of running high graphics, but every time I played Skyline, it would packet bursts non-stop the entire game. Since switching from High to Low texture quality, it hasn't happened since.
After 6 back to back wins, SBMM decided to screw me abd my squad and we had to sweat to win. My god the SMG omni move meta is just god awful. I finally mastered it but my hands arent the same

im glad you called this a rework and not a nerf, seeing people all day yesterday call it an AR nerf was actually pissing me off because players just didnt understand how the damages and ranges work. The GPR buffs are actually absurd and make the gun so much better
@@Bones0 Removing the first damage range for most ARs should help prevent that hit marker spam. I already use the range extending barrel to try and combat that myself.

The fact you need 100 headshots for camos but headshots can take 3-4 shots to kill is dumb. Headshots should do like 30min damage MINIMUM i tell ya
Remember, the last shot has to be a headshot not all of the shots.
And playing hardcore makes that easier

To be honest, I fell smg were overpowered.. hitting assault rifle ranges.. when they should be mid range max atleast but always hits ar ranges

The snipers suck. Slow movement slow ads insane flinch insane sway just extremely clunky. Mw3 and mw19 had good sniper play.
