Hello. The place you described in Lavizzara no longer exists. This year's wave of stones and mud destroyed the sports hall. Only the front wall remains. We were there 10 days ago. But the trip to the mountains to the stone villages was a success. Thanks for the inspiration.

We don't know what the situation is like there. However, you can freely enter the Lavizzara side. The towns have hardly suffered from water and mud. The higher up in the mountains, the more normal the situation. Cheers

I'm far from invincible 🤣 but I do pick myself up and get a good drone shot even through my arm was killing me! that dam was 130m , the one down the road from the Bond film Goldeneye is 220m. Need to see that next time. Counting down the days now!! 😀😀😀 x

Hi Anne, good to hear from you, hope you are keeping well. Yes, camera's can be replaced! 😀 The irony is that from all the crazy adventures we do this was a tame walk of about 50m to see the gorge. Can't beat the waterfalls in Switzerland they are everywhere and usually huge. Yes we are back home now, in fact we have another 6 weeks from a even more recent trip to start editing and releasing😀 You take care too, cheers...Andy&Michelle x

Some great footage guys of your hiking & cycling. Although Andy’s fall wasn’t as spectacular as mine last summer - bandage from elbow to wrist for a week 😮😮 after slipping on dry scrabbly dusty path in Spain

We are really enjoying your videos, particularly as we are off soon on a similar trip through France Switzerland to Italy and are even booked into the same site you used in Florence (is 3 nights too many?). Tuscany and Cinque Terre etc so all really helpful thank you. One questian did you find your mobiles worked ok in Switzerland? We’ve been told Virgin (and presumably O2) aren’t supported. We use google maps abroad so are reliant on our data. Be interested in your experience. Thanks and keep producing such great content 😊
Hi David, its great to hear you are enjoying our channel 😀 I would say 3 nights in Florence is about right, 1 day in Florence for us wasn't enough to see everything, my mobile is o2 and we use it for navigation, I don't recall any points at which it didn't have signal for google maps, generally we find Europe has much better coverage than the UK. I don't know if using o2 through virgin makes any difference or not, we did need to get O2 authorised for Europe a few years ago when we first used a new phone, that may be worth checking before you travel.
