They kill chickens that get infected with anything communicable, including other strains of Bird Flu than the one discussed in this video, in order to prevent the spread from getting worse and rendering even more of the end product inviable.

Great question. This all sounds like another round of some bs we lived through 4 years ago , especially since their actions contradict their advice. I seem to recall it was ok to take your mask off on an airplane to eat and drink drink, but it was not ok to socially distance on the beach.... things that make you go Hmmmm 🤔
