Hey, I just picked up 6 days ago 2019 Yamaha Drive 2 EFI ,same grey color .Has stock 8” wheels, original owner added extras from dealer- canvas w/doors, Rnox led headlight /tail light kit. I’m in a 55+ community in Fla, and original owner purchased late 2019 , then COVID hit. Didn’t use cart for almost 2 years. Less than 35 miles on cart. Nubs on tires are still on.$6500, I think I did ok, not 100 % sure, never bought a golf cart before . Oh yeah just put together a Mach 3 back seat on cart yesterday. Rims and tires are next (desperately needs them). Haven’t touched mechanically, using GPS have hit 25 mph a few times with me and my wife in cart. Generally it does 23+ all the time. Do you know if putting larger wheels will slow me down? I do like the newer flashy colors, but there is something about this metallic grey that I like a lot, classically classy if that makes any sense. Thank you for the video, and best of luck with your cart.
Sorry, my notifications didn't update this. But typically yes, bigger wheels will get you a little more speed, nothing crazy though. Also has to do with what type of tire tread as well.
