here i am, familiar finale. the last song of pre-rewind, and that timeline sure did go out with a bang. this was the first song i was there to witness the premiere of, and it was just awesome to watch this live. i'm pretty sure i have the entire song memorized in my head, actually. i don't know if i can truly explain how all 7 minutes of this makes me feel, so i'll explain how it GENERALLY feels. compared to deathmatch, i think this one is a lot less emotional? not in a bad way, though. deathmatch feels very sad tear-driven, like the peak of an emotional climax to a tragedy that left you screaming for the characters we lost. this isn't quite on the same level, but it's SO badass that it just makes up for it entirely. as i said on emancipation, this mod is called corruption reimagined for a reason, and this song certainly delivers on reimagining one of the most iconic finales in FNF history. the guitars, the drums, the vocal work, ALL of it hits crazy. well okay, when v2 first dropped i was actually pretty mixed on the new bf vocals. to this day i still do think they're inferior to his voice in v1, but i don't hate it anymore. plus, the new instrumental and those highs on dad's voice during some parts is just TOO good to give up. as with affliction, love how the week 1 trio all mix with each other. when they start dueting or trioing it's just amazing, that's all i can really say. when this song is done, the quietness you feel at the end as the narrator does his "well shit, guess that's it." sorta speech feels deserved, this was VERY bombastic! i almost would have been okay with this being the end of the mod, if not for how good the tracks in rewind are
This sounds like a improvement, old version still is good tho, just my only issue would be bfs vocals, i understand they are supposed to sound off but it also sounds out of tune which kinda makes it only a lil bit, worse but even then its still a decent improvement-
