You can since there are hybrids. from what I've learned it can be hard to get the timing correct. you need all conditions perfect, and the rite male with the right female. This is due to them both having different breeding cycles and the time is so narrow that they overlap. so yes you can but it can be difficult.

Hello I'm new to all things reptile. You can thank Clint and his reptiles for garnering my interest. I fell in love with his Tegu Gus Gus. I have to apologize for thinking you were a horrible person that we keep potatoes in rubber bins. I really thought that was just inhumane and horrible without knowing anything about the husbandry of Tagus. I went and asked for the definition of Rumation (I think that is spelled correctly) and that's when I learned they hibernate basically. That most reptiles do hibernate. which explains why you were calling it their "first meal. In my ignorance I thought you meant this was their first meal EVER?.. Like they had just come from a giant Tegu mother and that they needed to eat giant baby Tagu food.👍 This is what "Reptile ignorance " looks like.🦎🦎🐍🐍👍🐲🐊🐢 so thank you for teaching me about rumation. I learned about tegus from Clinton's reptiles. I fell instantly in love with Gus Gus. one day I hope to have a couple of jumping spiders but no tarantulas no sir

All comes down to the individual. Feed, if there is leftovers then feed less. They all eat and grow at different rates.
