    Can you tell me what is the reason this circuits will last a lifetime ??? Seems that the bulb wiring just does not last long at all. Nice video with real good diagrams and schematics too.

      The current output of the circuit is somehow make All the LED chip working below half of it optimum capabilities. That will make it last longer. (but in the other hand, is not as bright as it should be)

      Sí, necesitas hacer los cálculos para 125V y la frecuencia en tu país, porque si lo haces igual y lo conectas a 125V , tal vez ni prendan los leds o iluminen muy poquito.

    For 335j400v they list capacitance between 0.01 - 3.3uF. What is the exact type in this circuit? Very interesting I will try it!

    In the circuit 1 -where is the second rasistor 560k/0.5W ? And in the circuit 2 -where is the second resistor 470k /0.5W ? I see in the diagrams that there are one!

The main thing is that the matrix with LEDs does not heat up more than 40 degrees, the comfortable operating temperature of the LED is 20-40 degrees. When the heating temperature of the LED housing exceeds 50 degrees, accelerated degradation of the LED occurs. Since the LED crystal located inside the LED housing heats up to a much higher temperature, and if the heat is not quickly withdrawn from it, then the degradation of the LED will occur first, and with further heating, the breakdown of the LED will occur.There is data on the resistance of capacitors at alternating current on the Internet.

      @@RJEDITALL I do not know the voltage of your network, but the capacitor needs to be selected 1.5 - 2 times the mains voltage ! And this is important. The amplitude value after the diode bridge and the capacitor is 310 V !!! We have ( Ukraine )in the network 210 -230 V, then the capacitor needs 300 - 350 - 400 V. A little more expensive, but more reliable.and more durable

      OMG --- there are two big 'mistakes' right at the start.
      It is NOT powerful - maximum practical current is only 100mA.
      Then this NOT a LED driver. It does not do any regulation - not voltage nor current. It is just a crudely designed power supply.
      THEN this circuit is DANGEROUS - it carries live mains voltage. In the comments he says it is safe but this is Not true - if you are grounded and touch any bare connection you will get a shock.
      Three big 'mistakes' - can you trust him? Does he really know about electronics - or is he just blindly copying bad circuits?

    Most of the dropper ckt, I noticed that, discharge resistor like 470k/560k for electrolytic capacitor is connected with + & - of the said capacitor. But u have used with ac points of bridge rectifier in ckt 2 and also working, but how ? Isn't it risky for short ckt ? Tripura.

    Not galvanised circuit, dangerous for life. There will 280V DC power which can kill you. Also the drivers like this one are not economical. Will eat electricity ⚡️ as incandescent lamps. LED s will dim.

      When AC in is 240V DC output is around 340. So it's more dangerous.

      Chalega, 470k Rasistor ke jaga 150k Rasistor, aur capacitor 220uf / 160-200v. PF 335j ke jaga 435-475j 400-650v laga du hu jayega
