However, I don’t see it as insensitive(my parents are from east Africa and I was born here so I guess I know from firsthand experience too) but I can see how other people might think of it that way

The way they edited Mama Mai's entrance was weird because they showed the same moment of Tamar running back to her seat but from two different camera angles apart from each other. So I'm thinking they cut out the Tamar and Tamera hugs for time's sake.
