Very clear directions. Where should I park if I am picking up someone flying internationally at T5? Also, would you recommend viewers park and wait at McDonald's on A4 if they arrive early?

Alway park in Short-Stay car Park then walk down to meet your passengers. IF you are earlier than expected, then yes you can wait in the local MacDonalds but keep in mind there is time limits there too! Also if you have the opportunity monitor the flight your friends are on then when it lands while your waiting in MacDonalds slowly make your way to collection point.
