I appreciate the transparency in your videos. So educational and inspiring! Would you be willing to do a video where you tour and break down the cost of the flower fields and tunels? Bed borders, irrigation lines, fabric, tarps, hole burners, tunnels, buckets, soil, seeds, snips .... etc etc etc. I see your space and imagine mine about half the size of fields - and modified tunnel for my super southern climate. I have so much inspiration!! 🤩
The cost wouldn’t be that helpful as it can be very different place to place. But it is easy to make a budget on those items once you determine your own field size and then look up the online prices (with shipping and taxes for your area).
You both should be so proud of all that you have accomplished. I love how you bring it back to profitability and create more awareness for us viewers of all of the little things that go in to the equation. Loving the Oklahoma weather!! Your trees are budding!
Today I had was privileged to be seated next to your daughter on a flight to Tucson. She is just precious! She told me all about your flowers and told me about your TH-cam videos, so had to check it out! You should be very proud of her.
It will be a great new placement for the stand at the end of the driveway. Looks like you could take out the grass by the fence, put down gravel and a lot of people could park and walk over to the new stand.
We're still forecast for some decent freeze days here in Missouri, so our first go at flower farming shall wait a bit longer. I did get the greenhouse done though so we've been planting for the summer season! Enjoyed the tour!
@@CoramDeoFarm oh ok thank you for answering. The water bills in KS are really high so I’m just concerned about offsetting that expense. Also it gets a little colder up here so I don’t know if the plants can survive the low temps with a row cover but I’ll try it out! Thanks!

Congrats! Your parents must be so proud!
I'm gambling on early sunflowers as well! Sowing them this week and starting some indoors for a possible loss 😂
They are tough! I have two successions planted that I started indoors.

oh how wonderful!!
I'm so excited to see spring on peoples farms!
I know it's only spring but your fields are so well kept and look great! Thanks for all of your informational videos, I learn so much from you guys!
Yay!
Amazing work. Looking forward to seeing the new flower stand!

thank you!
I’m excited to see how the planter helps. That thing is not cheap.
Definitely not cheap but when we add up our other costs especially labor, it will pay for itself this year
Alex what was that pink variety you husband likes so much? That color is gorgeous, Thanks for another great video
meron pink anemone is his favorite. Personally I can’t see much of a difference to the Jerusalem pink but he claims there is ;)
Great to see everything in tunnel. Where did you get your shade cloth?
Hydro Builder
@@CoramDeoFarm Thank you! Next question
what type of seeder is that? I have Earthway but its not so great for precision.
What gauge is the metal wire for the small hoops? 😊
I think 9
Everything looks great! How are you doing weed control with all the bare soil? My fields would be taken over!
We only do bare fields in spring bc weed growth is slower for us. They’ll be covered in summer
@CoramDeoFarm oh, That makes sense! Thank you!
What is your monthly water bill and how do you heat your hoop tunnel?
Idk our bill but its not high in oklahoma. We don’t heat anything.
