Performance was great given the lack of feedback from the crowd, that's gotta be the toughest to get through as a performer.

And I think they should use their talent, instead of not actually singing to do a dance number.. Their profession is singing, not dancing. That's all. They are good dancers. I love 5H & LM, they're both great girl groups who support each other for a start, unlike their alleged fandoms. All the girls promote is females working & sticking together, yet all the fandoms do is argue. Personally LM performance was better to watch, but 5H are brand new and LM have been doing this for years! They have practice, they know each other on stage like the back of their hand and they know their image. 5H are still tying to figure themselves out, and when they do, they'll be even more amazing. You can't compare them because they're at completely different stages in their career and experience levels.
5H are not brand new. They have been together as long now as LM were at last years performance here. Compare 5H's performance of this vs LM's performance last year, it's obvious that LM have better control over vocals and do much more complicated dance routines.

They aren't lip syncing. The playback is too loud. How do I know? Well in the beginning, Camila says " Capital Summertime Ball make some noise!", she literally had to yell into the microphone. Also, Dinah says a little bit of Kid Ink's part, and she yells into it too. If you hear carefully, they are actually singing.

They are just using a backtrack at the chorus. This performance had a lot of issues for example Camila‘s mic. But you can clearly hear that they were singing there lines live, because Dinah changed her part a little bit and Camila‘s mic wasn’t working.
That's not how lip syncing works. The singer still has to sing along with their vocals if there's a loud backtrack because then it wouldn't look natural.
BADII SALMAN she'd still have to sing along to the backtrack no matter how loud it was. I personally think there was something wrong with the audio during their performance.

They are just using a backtrack at the chorus. This performance had a lot of issues for example Camila‘s mic. But you can clearly hear that they were singing there lines live, because Dinah changed her part a little bit and Camila‘s mic wasn’t working.
