What's your experience with this build? I'm curious what other bosses y'all have been doing! Bik Arrows are SO STRONG. It took everything in me to not make another Kerapac Ranged video. 😂
@@PAlexander1 That's great to read, however, have you been keeping track of how many arrows you consume per hour? Considering the BLG Passive extra hit also consumes an arrow.
Something to note, in case you don't know, arch glacor mechanics, every set of 5 mechanics, each mechanic will happen once. So at 13:33, when you suspect cannon, you are correct, because it already did pillars, and cannon is the only other mechanic where creeping ice pushes in from the left only. Between sets of 5 are when you can get back to backs. If you can keep track of the sets of 5 you can better predict mechanics and prepare for them.
Note: There is a poison icon that will show up around The arch-glacor's health bar that will show a percentage. This goes up to 400%, which can take a little bit to reach. Once you are at 400% you will really start to see the impacts that these bik arrows can have. That being said, at lower and enrages, it will die well before you reach 400%, So you don't really notice a big difference in your kill times, because you don't get the chance to fully experience these operating at their peak. (If you ever see someone suggesting something like ful arrows at lowering enrages, this is why).
Consider bringing ful arrows for the frozen core special attack, his arms are immune to poison so the extra 15% dps gain from ful arrows against his arms make a massive difference in how fast you can clear them (especially at higher enrages)
Also consider using reckless instead of vamp at arch glacor, its a significant dps gain with the poison build (even though you lose a very small amount of procs due to not using vamp, the dps gain of reckless outweighs it)
I’ll have to give reckless a shot and see how it does. I noticed this isn’t as effective as it is during kerapac because you can’t continuously apply bik stacks due to mechanics. As for Ful arrows, ill incorporate those, thanks for the suggestions!
15:42 I’m probably a little late to the party but another way you can differentiate if it’s arms or cannon is that when he does arms he will stops attacking as the ice creeps in from both sides, or if he keeps attack like he did here it will be cannon.
did a few hours with new bow + bik arrows at glacor. obvio it was not anything crazy (kinda yoloed it) but from what i gatherd the kills felt bit smoother and conssistent. i did however miss the constant flow of adren from hydrix bolts and the spamming of dbows etc. also when the minions comes out it felt bit clunky as norm i usually just click on chins then back to mh blight to kill the bolstered one. it's an interesting build with how good poisen stacks with bik arrows and poisen builds in gen. so maybe in the future or for higer enrages i might switch it up, but for now im sticking to hydrix's + blights, just feels way more relaxing and nicer since i don't really have to worry much about adrenaline for mechnics / dumping abils. currently around 1.7k max enr atm
Been trying this with the nox bow setup you helped me on, seems to be great for enrages above 300 but if you like to streak like me it might be best to use full arrows and a titan in the beginning? I don't think the accuracy penalty matters at all at glacor been using it with inspiration aura getting around 1:40-2 min kills below 200 enrage I know that's not very good but it's matching my blightbounds times
it happened to me as well (i.e. the rooting in place :( ) lost me a 25 killstreak which sucks but oh well.. bugs happen. Love the build btw I use it myself at kerapac and it's a breeze :)
This resonance trick is hard!! Died 8 times trying it. The ability never is ready after second cannon hit, we need stop attacking? Anticipation + Shield + Reflex + 1 hit + 1 hit + Resonance Is this right?
Target cycling allows you to grab a target with a keybind instead of clicking. Most Bosses are targettable before they become clickable, so you’re able to start an encounter right right away as opposed to waiting for their spawn animation to complete.
ive been using this build (without the shieldbow) at around 1200 percent and i havent had to use reso shield swap still for healing. i used to have to use it on cooldown
Question - How do you think this setup would do a telos? Would the bik stacks stay in between phases? Would this make phase 4 and 5 super fast? Thanks.
I believe the stacks clear from 4 to 5. I don’t think the build would be the greatest due to accuracy issues. You’d miss quite a bit and that’s missed chances for bik stacks/poison damage. I could be wrong though!
@@RheyoRS Thanks for the reply, and I'll defer to you. I'm mainly a magic guy as I don't have much range gear. (Nox bow and super death lotus with no ability/prayer unlocks). For magic, I have cryptbloom, seismic wand, and all skills/prayer unlocked. If it BIK made telos super easy, I may be willing to invest some in range. But for now, sounds like I should just stick with magic. :) Thanks for the series and vids. I really enjoy them.
In the previous video there was no dpm data any chance we can get that? Ive been waiting for the shift from crossbow to bow ever since mutated dazing shot was op from using the blistering 🏹
Occasionally, but it’s not a primery focus. I use greater dazing shot’s puncture affect for the bonus chance to proc poison as opposed to the actual damage from puncture. Puncture stack upkeep is tedious and messes up the rotation quite a bit, so if I focus more on puncture stacks as opposed to multi hit abilities then I’m really doing less damage, and you need at least 5-6 punctures stacks for salt in the wound to reliably hit decent without ful arrows.
Not noob at all, it’s a good question! You use crystal of rejuvenation on the ancient spell book whenever it starts to get low on hp, I typically use it anywhere from 50% hp or lower
Theres a safer pillars route than what you described! I use it for melee at up to 500% (with much worse gear and much slower kill times than you have). Run to the front far right corner when the creeping ice comes. Wait for the pillar to get close, bd to the diagonal opposite corner, run to the middle of the platform, wait (or use one ability on the glacor), then go left (while at the back edge of the platform) and surge, then run forward in a straight line, then wait, and back toward glacor. This is slower, but safer
It would also depend on whether if you want to camp the Shieldbow a little while you're using defensives. For example, at The Ambassador you may want to use Debilitate + Reflect to survive the Bomb Onslaught on the Final Phase. Another example is Zamorak, to reduce the damage dealt to you by the "Rage of a God" attack. Same with Nex Ice Prison attack. Potentially at Raksha too between phase transitions. The thing is, the Strykebow is more of a means to conserve arrow stacks and do the occasional Barricade (like in Zuk 3rd Challenge). With that being said, and my person experience, I'd say the best perks to use are: (Caroming 4 + Aftershock 1) and (Bulwark 3 + Turtling 2), but that's if you have the Tier 2 Malletops Perk so both Debilitate and Barricade last for 15 Seconds. If Jagex reworks the Ultimatums Perk in the future, then I'd probably go for (Turtling 4 + Ultimatums 4).

I’ve been using this at kerapac a lot too, been averaging 3:30’s with the new bow doing the same method as you, it’s mega chill
Those are insane kill times dude
The bow definitely makes a big difference!

Nice!
You don't really need to focus to much on the auto attacks, if you get used to he way the ice moves you'll know if it's core/cannon or pillars/cannon
These Poison Builds are incredible!
Ranged being a consistent DPS, Multihit Style is great too. I like where ranged is in our current META.
Yeah I really enjoy the possibilities you have with Range
I like your talkthroughs more than your previous full kills!

I found it very useful to use inspiration aura. You get tons on adren from using bleeds that you can dump into dark bow specs.
Inspiration is a solid choice! If I went with inspiration I’d probably go for a slightly different build that favors more direct damage
I found some out important information when testing hex w/arrows, ecb doesn’t count as heals so the blood reaver never procs attacks while under it
Yeah I believe it’d be better to not use ECB spec with this build as the potential poison damage from reaver can hit hard.
@@RheyoRS ye one thing to note, it’s still good at low stacks, like kera it would be useful in p1/on clones but not after
