"I couldn't take my face off", he has said that a couple of times and I hate that people gave him the impression that he doesn't have a pretty face when he absolutely does
Well he looks kind of intimidating, but he's more like a background henchman than the big bad boss. I guess being a soft nerdy guy with weird fashion taste did not help either. I am not attacking him personally, because I think he's a genuine guy who is passionate about his job, but he doesn't have the personality or magnetic charm of a big screen actor. I am happy that he has found his place in the gaming community and he finally got the appreciation he deserves.
Yeah. That's absolutely crazy. To me he looks like Tom Hiddleston's neutral evil brother. Very handsome. And personally I really appreciate his fashion sense, I love his martial arts inspired looks and everything. He's not mainstream, he has personality, he's his own person (like I just told Astarion). 😉
It's not that they think he's not handsome, but by the shallow industry standards he looks more like the crazy bad guy, he himself has jokingly tagged some of his pictures with "resting psycho face". In big productions they tend to care more about how you look and what they can type cast you as than your actual acting capacity
@@thearcanamodernau8130 I see. The "in real life" Neil from his Twitch streams looks 100.00% friendly, though! Neil, here's the thing, you do have a lot of appreciators (not fan-atics, for the most part) of your work, but ALSO of who you are as a person. You are relatable, compassionate and sensitive, funny and expressive, you seem to be an all-around very good human to get to know, plus you're on the nerdy side like most of us; it shows through your interviews and that's what conquers so many hearts.
