Loved the staircase which is so captivating. It seems like an abstract sculpture with its curves. The use of light inside the home is stunning as it accents features throughout the home. The water feature by the entrance is very calming. The use of natural materials like the stone and wood as well as the lighting accents softens the internal areas of the home. Really beautiful.
This is surreal! Imagine brewing coffee with your loved one in the balcony when the early morning baby sunshines hitting you both! That's life. Right there. ❤️
The property is an excellent graphic artwork, but personally I wouldn't live there. More warm wooden elements and organic details. It looks to official and cold. But great work, I love this channel!
Agree with many of the comments - esp. the apocalyptic scale and need for solar. Gotta say though, that the smooth finish on that concrete is stunning.
This is a beautiful house no doubt. Only thing I would change if I were to buy it is the tennis court. Id make that another feature like a garden or bigger swimming pool or something.
I love that the property facade and fencing is used as a genuine design statement - it encourages introspection and solitude when you enter, which was clearly the goal here.
This house amazing, though the large concrete walls surrounding the tennis court are a little too brutal. Hopefully they get some more greenery on the exterior to soften it.
I'm one of those people thats either paranoid or just likes being prepared, i'd like my home to feel like a fort but still able to have plenty of natural light, this is great
What went unsaid was the owner’s overarching desire for privacy. I love concrete in homes but this was a fortress shutting itself off without connection to the outside world-almost like a Bond villain’s lair with the Supercars downstairs 🤣
this house is one of my favorites :D thank you for showing it to us. This is what my dream home would look like in my mind. I love the concrete and the scale of it.
Incredible. I'm sure this caters 100% to the owners' desires especially with there being noisy streets on two sides of the lot! Their own private (and secure) haven in a busy place. If I had that car collection, I would also want no chance for any vandalism while enjoying my space and my possessions. Well done and probably pitch perfect for this family and the ages of their kids! I bet they have teenagers or university-age children who love to come back to see their parents and enjoy their space. If I'm reading the interiors correctly, these people are high-powered executives who had to conduct business within multiple long term lockdowns, and also want to host anyone comfortably, especially their own. ♥️ Just amazing!!! Phenomenal job.
Very sleek. I love the use of the different recessed blocks to break up the mass. It does feel like an upscale hotel presidential suite though. It’s still a clever design.
The whole vibe of this home is extremely closed off from the world in a way that feels so classist-like an old-fashioned castle with thick, high walls. It's beautifully executed, but the lack of connection with its surroundings makes me sad.
As soon as you said this, I thought "the house must be in Toorak" yep. it's in Toorak. they're all like that. high-walled monstrosities for the most part, more concerned with size than anything else
Stunning staircase and entry door. The dark tinted curtain wall gives it a bit of a commercial / airport feel viewed from the tennis court, but once inside homely and warm.
Its been for sale for a while, which isn't surprising since they want over $24 million. I suppose its aimed at a certain buyer who loves a contemporary design, even though it sticks out like a sore thumb in that particular spot.....Great video as always though.
Nice front facade, but that tennis court dominating the house is absolutely terrible. And all the rooms overlooking that huge fake grass monstrosity is like hell
Literally every other house around it is beautiful. Imagine an astroturfed hotel showing up in your historic neighbourhood. It will gain some patina after a few rains but I don't think streaking and browning on featureless grey spans was the intent.
I was put off at first by this build, it’s certainly not where I’d like to live, but there’s something to appreciate in what has been created by the architects and builders. It appears to be an exceptionally well made home. A smidge to stark for me, though. Too contemporary.
It would help me if these were tagged #SpecHouse or even #DudeBro if you're going to show me another Lamborghini. Beautifully produced, as always, The Local Project.
holes are from when you tie the walls to prevent outward expansion when you pour concrete, but you can also brace the walls although this looks like it was finished over with concrete after, with bracing you can get that wooden texture on concrete that you see in some videos though
Usually love the architecture you film but this one seems a bit at odds. Monolithic with little to no contextual scale and detailing on the inside façade that feels almost commercial in its application. Seems a shame to give over all that space for a tennis court but top video as always.
Beautiful home but what is with the pool almost on the court? anyone that plays tennis knows you need that room to run or stop when retrieving the ball. So why got to the trouble and not be serious about tennis? Thanks for your reply and understand this is not a go at you in anyway but design has to be functional also.
The cinematography and editing in this production is insane
Whoever makes that stuff better be earning 6 figures. It's world class work.

The wood tones in this home are stunning

The architect's voice is so good (and the audio quality is equally so good) that this video has an ASMR quality.
The house behind it looks beautiful!
😁

That spiral stair is amazing!
The light in staircase is pretty and bring elegant ambiance.

first salmon residence and now hopetoun, really looking forward for another FGR masterpiece
Wow, a really special home. Bad ass architect and designers!
those stairs are unworldly love em, also that yard and the glass overlooking it is amazing

Warms my heart to see such beautiful architecture.
The voice of the architect is just like that of a character in a blockbuster movie
This is a beautiful house no doubt. Only thing I would change if I were to buy it is the tennis court. Id make that another feature like a garden or bigger swimming pool or something.
Definitely, the owners should be rich enough to enjoy driving their cars to the club for a game of tennis.

I’m in loveeee!!😍absolutely stunning!!
Very talented architects. Just wow
We need to see more garage spaces! Cars can be art pieces if the space is designed right.
Concept of design was thoughtful and constructive

Absolutely stunning house, the cars, too ;) One of the best house designs so far. Kudos for the team who made this video. 🙃
It's Art!!! I love it! I can imagine the clients are of high class and fashion! It's beautiful
I literally can't get over the entrance of this home,
When I get a home I'd literally love if I could get a replica of this one
I must agree!
What went unsaid was the owner’s overarching desire for privacy. I love concrete in homes but this was a fortress shutting itself off without connection to the outside world-almost like a Bond villain’s lair with the Supercars downstairs 🤣
Absolutely wow, what a structure! Complex and very challenging for the builder I bet
Beautiful 10/10
Stunning! I was captivated through out the entire video. Has to be the most efficient use of space I have seen yet. Well done guys!
this house is one of my favorites :D thank you for showing it to us. This is what my dream home would look like in my mind. I love the concrete and the scale of it.
Every time i pick a favorite another one comes along
Nice dark shoe box 📦
it looks and feels very corporate. I don't know if I'd consider it a family home
Correct
Show us your “family home” dude
Cheers from San Diego California
This house is a corporate family home. It's still a family home but the one who resides works at a corporation XD
This is a house for a single guy
This house has an art-deco vibe - the go-to style choice for oligarchs, tech bros, and all the rest of the global nouveau-riche.
that last bit of monologue made me join the concrete cult
I akso didn't know concrete could be this beautiful.😅✨

Wow. You got the sad vibes heavy... Maybe people just want some privacy? Don't project your insecurities on the homeowners/builder...

Nice office!
Gorgeous
That garage door!
Looks like my local library. I love minimalism and this place looks great, internally, externally not so much.
Love it! Thanks for sharing.
It feels & looks like Brutalist design from the street front...hard shell, soft centre
Beautiful!
Parasite 2
Hehe. Yeah
INCREDIBLE!
Another amazing home well captured. I'm always excited when I see a new video.
Thank you.
Beautiful home; love it. But as a tennis player, that court is dangerous. My kick serve would send the receiver into that tiny pool!
is my screen settings messed up or is this house not getting any light?
Its been for sale for a while, which isn't surprising since they want over $24 million. I suppose its aimed at a certain buyer who loves a contemporary design, even though it sticks out like a sore thumb in that particular spot.....Great video as always though.

Incredible house. But it looks like there's not enough space behind the baselines of the tennis court.
See my comment. Should have made a roof top pool! They were juuuussst a bit short of space for the desired layout.
yeah lol....i guess serve and volley only
masterpiece

Speaking as a designer of 30 years plus, I have to say the house is stunning.
Be warned: Liquidambar (mentioned at the beginning) tree roots are aggressive and known to lift foot paths and block drains.
Incrível e belo esse projeto. A equipe de vídeo parabéns.
How did they made the concrete wall with no holes? Its so smooth, please explain is it a type of concrete? Or is it a way to do it?
holes are from when you tie the walls to prevent outward expansion when you pour concrete, but you can also brace the walls although this looks like it was finished over with concrete after, with bracing you can get that wooden texture on concrete that you see in some videos though

This one I like.
Doomsday bunker
Wow!
Wow!!!
Wow such a dream home! Very timeless. Having said, nobody is smashing the tennis ball into the glass window?
I would say the glazing is so high spec that you could probably go running into a panel and you'd bounce off.
Is the glass on the ground floor tennis ball proof?
Usually love the architecture you film but this one seems a bit at odds. Monolithic with little to no contextual scale and detailing on the inside façade that feels almost commercial in its application. Seems a shame to give over all that space for a tennis court but top video as always.
Someone wants the tennis coach close to the bedroom...
I'm sure the neighbors hate that tennis court.
Очень красиво!
Where is this house located ?
